Went for Sunday lunch. The food was really nice and got plenty. Lovely atmosphere and staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Me and my family went to The Dog Inn for a catch up Sunday roast. The food was amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and they made you feel safe during the COVID situation. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful surroundings but that’s were it ended. On arrival our booking could not be found but we were shown to a table! Party of four booked for 6.30 pm! Rack of lamb had run out! Two ordered duck. It was over cooked when it arrived and dry! It couldn’t be cut into. One ordered sea bass which arrived whole with head & tail removed. Picking through the bones was tedious! We waited 40 mins for someone to come and take a sweet order! Four coffee’s ordered only three arrived!! Expensive!! We were not looked after! Will not be returning unfortunately as it’s on our doorstep.

My second visit didn't disappoint. Great quality menu and warm and friendly staff. Covid measures followed to a high standard. I love this place!

Love the place. The food is quality and tasty. The environment and view is stunning. The staff are lovely. Great to eat vegan without feeling like you’re offered a small portioned or poor quality token dish. The specials with a meal and dessert for £15 is as reasonable as anywhere. Lucky to have it on our doorstep.

First visit for my birthday and loved it. Had the burger and it was delicious. Lovely setting. Will visit again

Enjoyed our delivered takeaway pizzas from the Avenue last night!

Visited a few times for coffee as it's in a wonderful setting however last Sunday was the first time for food, I had the full Vegan breakfast which was delicious with tofu scrambled eggs a new thing for me while my partner enjoyed a mushroom and goat's cheese omelette, Well worth a visit.

Another very enjoyable meal on Saturday lunchtime. 4 people with 3 very different tastes. The child enjoyed his cheeseburger and fries. He asked for milk with ice in it and that was brought very promptly. The adults were all pleased with their food. The pumpkin risotto was described as exquisite. The chicken burger was juicy and had interesting extras. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it - rare - and the tomato was so tasty.

Food was lovely and the service very friendly. We will definitely be returning! Thank you.

First time at Astoria and everything was spot on from the food to the service and atmosphere. Which is what you need in these uncertain times .

Another lovely meal at Whins Green with my Mum. Delicious food with a beautiful view out onto the fields. Hope to return soon.

Fabulous food, courteous service. Have been visiting Papas for 25 years and not disappointed once. Whole Covid thing addressed really well. One of my families favourite places to eat out.

We had a fantastic meal at Astoria. The restaurant staff are lovely and the food amazing! My only moan is how cold it was inside but they put the heating on as they sat us down. Warmed up in 15 mins but would be better if the restaurant had been heated before we arrived as we had booked and they were expecting us! Despite this 5* all round and would highly recommend a visit!

First visit for our Anniversary. Absolutely fantastic food, service & setting! Will definitely be one of our go-to places from now on! Many Thanks to all the staff for making this a special occasion!
