My wife and I booked a table for two, we had 3 courses of good food, the issue was service. We had a course of poppadums that before we had finished the waiter removed, announcing that our starters were ready. Then likewise as we had just had our plates removed and our main course served. Within 35 minutes we had had 3 courses in a very rushed affair. I was ready to order coffee and or desert, no desert menu offered when the waiter gave us a plate of hand wipes and orange segments. At this point we felt like we were being thrown out! We asked for the bill. This restaurant was recommended to us by several family members, so a massive disappointment, not one I am likely to return to.

Ok for the price, but have had better elsewhere for fish and chips.

Wow what a place 5 STAR. Top Quality Starters Main and Dessert. Nice Ambiance, Value for Money, Friendly Courteous Staff. Great high back seating arrangement complementing the decor. The chicken and corn soup is brilliant!!! The manager even gave us guys a jug of Mango juice on the house !!! What more can i ask for, well done.

Went to a 40th birthday party and was very disappointed with their bar prices, other guests mentioned this also so it just wasn't me. It was one of the only 40ths I've attended where the majority of guests were still sober at the end of the night - if invited to another event at Bartle Hall I would definitely make an excuse and avoid. By having smaller profit margins I'm sure they could reap higher profits.

Went to Waheeds with a couple of friends was a lovely atmosphere and service was excellent, loved the butter chicken! Wide variety of dishes must have been at least 30. the chocolate fudge cake was very good I had 3 slices of that served with cream cherry flavour ice cream, which I haven't tasted before.

Brilliant pizzas.

Can't find anything negative to say about this place its fantastic. I'm Coeliac and so can't have gluten but there is so much variety I could eat majority of dishes. Left fit to bust and really enjoyed it. Thanks.

A yummy lunch with the ladies today at Langs!

Slow service, staff don't deliver what you asked and owner is surly and rude. Bad atmosphere, made to pay for two stale pints when the staff never gave me the first pint. I believe its time for Mr Walker to say goodbye and retire!!

Just called in this Indian off chance, they said they where closing in 15 mins but fitted us in. The food was fantastic and the service was spot on. We are moving into this area and will be calling in again!

We have had many meals at the Saddle Inn. Staff are friendly and courteous. The food is good and plenty for bigger appetites.

I had heard about the new Indian restaurant in Preston, The Silk Route. It replaced Ming Dynasty which I always found a bit soulless. The name suggested a fusion of cuisine's that gather along the real Silk Route in Asia. However it's a typical curry house that serves good Indian fayre. Nothing out of the ordinary, which was slightly disappointing. The venue doesn't look much different and could do with something to provide more atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient from the waiter, though the table next to mine complained about their wait. My portion of chicken tikka Jalfrezi was ample, rich in sauce and hot! I would return I suppose but as I don't live nearby, not in a great hurry.

This has quickly become my favourite dining place in Preston. The reception is stunning and the restaurant is lovely, staff very friendly and food excellent. The area of town is nice too. Definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed my meal at the Silk Route Preston. Had the chilli Jhal, hot and tasty! Took some home in a doggy bag and would definitely return.

Salaam, my initial response at our visit was impressive as you'd only been open for 2/3 months. The buffet was very good but could be better. Starter dishes were too spicy for the kids so was disappointed as they only eat a starter and dessert. Somewhat disappointed and surprised there was no zarda in the dessert and expected noodles to be on buffet. You could organise your space a little better by allocating a more convenient and suitable table for ladies who wear niqab. We encountered an accident due to limited space as other customers next to us were using a screen. Luckily my daughter wasn't hurt badly and there were no spillages. Please take this as constructive advise and not a criticism. Waalaam

I went in to your place the first time to have something to eat, didn't know if the food was going to be any good. But it was the opposite. It was the best food I have ever tasted anywhere I have been, the meat fell of the bone. Thanks to Chris and the way he gave it to us was great. Shelly was the girl that served us made me feel great inside with that smile she has. Thanks to Chris and Shelly I will be back, and if anyone wants to know where to go for a meal I will tell them where to go. keep the good work up. Say thanks to Chris and Shelly tell them I will never forget the kindness they gave me.

First time visit, pleasant surroundings .

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Angels Resturant . The setting is relaxing and very luxurious. The food is excellent and staff are very friendly and welcoming nothing is to much trouble. We had a memorable enjoyable evening. We would highly recommend this Restaurant.
