Very nice food.
Arrived early Saturday evening without making a booking, the staff where very accomodating letting us have a table that was reserved for a later time providing we had enough time to eat (2 hours). The atmosphere was cosy and the staff where very helpful. The food was excellent especially my choice of the fish trio . As we had eaten at the Travellers Rest previously and really enjoyed it we ignored the negative comments posted by some diners and rightly so -wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
The Travellers Rest – ChorleyThis restaurant serves some if not the best food I have had. I would recommend the peri peri chicken stir fry, if any body decides to visit, as its totally mind blowing.
Bay Leaves – ChorleyVisited during half-term holiday for lunch - exceptional food as always.
The Grapes – LeylandNot been for a while, food and service is always great.Think we'll go today.Yeah.
Smiths Arms – PrestonHad a meal Saturday22/02/14 amazing food and service.
Angelos – PrestonVery disappointed with meal poor quality and expensive.
Honey Tree – MorecambeExcellent. Not the cheapest but real value for money. The quality of the food is absolutely brilliant and the staff are very friendly. We have eaten here several times and it is my son's favourite restaurant when he is visiting us from Lincolnshire so nearly always include a meal out when he is staying with us. One thing I would suggest though is to request seating in the conservatory area if you like to eat somewhere quiet as the main body of the restaurant does tend to be a bit on the noisy side. It is always busy, even on week nights but if you wish to dine there at the weekend I would recommend booking to be sure of getting a table.
Alghero – ChorleyVisit regularly, food always great, home cooked and always lovely and hot, staff fantastic and welcomming. Recommend Oak Royal any time.
The Lark Hill Restaurant at the Oak Royal Golf and Country Club – ChorleyExcellent!!
The Old Mill Hill Chippy – BlackburnI've been to La Vespa a few times and me and my partner love it. The food, staff and service are all amazing. Booked for valentines day too... Can't wait x
La Vespa – ClitheroeHad a great meal last night at Lucianos with my Mrs.
Luciano’s At The Millstone – ChorleyPeople very friendly always feel comfortable and food is always lovely nice for a romantic meal or a group of mates.
La Vespa – ClitheroeGood food, value for money and great atmosphere !
The Park Inn – AccringtonThe 3 of us in our party had an excellent meal at the Ye Horns Inn Goosnargh. The pub is famous for its duck and quite rightly. Gammon and trout were very good too. Brew their own beer. Will definitely return and would strongly reccommend to others.
Ye Horns Inn – PrestonHad a wonderful meal here last week. Good service, food and wine. The best place to eat cheep in that area.
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyThe Willows is a lovely place to look at and the inside is cosy however waited far too long for a meal which when arrived it was luke warm. The only postive review of the food was the dessert which I took home.
The Willows – BlackburnYesterday I visited Nino's at The Fighting Cocks Inn, together with my partner and another couple, and it was not an enjoyable dining experience for the following reasons. * Food:- This varied greatly, out of four starters & four mains there were four good, one average, one poor & two very poor (the lasagne), also the garlic bread was burnt. * Service:- In practical matters acceptable, but impersonal & not especially welcoming. * Price:- Not good value (drinks very expensive). * Ambiance:- Very noisy, not authentic (it didn't seem to me like an Italian restaurant , just a restaurant serving Italian food - there is a difference!). * We will not return.
