Slice Of Sicily – PrestonExcellent food good atmosphere
Astoria – BurnleyMy wife and I have visited several times, both at lunch and evening time. On each occasion the ambience, service and food have been excellent. Based on our experiences, I worked with Simon who put together a superb multi-choice 3-course evening meal, plus introductory drink (again with options) at a very competitive price for a group of 21 Rotarians. Having pre-ordered each individual meal, the evening went like clockwork with attentive and co-ordinated service, superbly cooked and presented meals and a very happy group of people. Thank you Soji, Simon and the Team for giving us a wonderful evening.
The Ginger Bistro – Preston3rd visit since opening . Been with hubby then friends and finally took mother for her birthday!! Excellent each time , lovely attentive service . The tapas is the best I have had and we tried the new lunch menu and had pasta this time which was fresh hot and really tasty. I was always stuck where to go before but not anymore. Great for any occasion Tried lots on the tapas menu and all tasted amazing. The wines are really good also . I’ve not tried the desserts as yet been too full. You are never rushed and can sit and eat and drink without feeling pressure to pay the bill or vacate your table . Lovely ambiance. Finally really well priced, would suit most budgets .
Astoria – BurnleySaturday was our 3rd visit to the Ginger Bistro. Excellent meal. We had the special which was full rack of ribs for 2 people for £22. It was amazing! Best ribs I’ve ever had. We were with another couple who also opted for the ribs special. We all struggled to finish it but refused to leave any as it was so good. The service was yet again excellent, the wine very good and we managed to share a creme brûlée as it would have been rude not to. We look forward to our next visit soon.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonLove this place. Had Sunday lunch 2 courses, there were 6 of us, all meals were delicious and hot Staff very friendly Can definitely recommend
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyThis was our third visit to the Ginger Bistro and once again thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Recommended!!!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI chose to eat here for our 20th wedding anniversary as previously we have really enjoyed our meal. On this occasion my cheese and onion pie tasted odd as the pastry had a sweet taste, I brought this to the attention of a member of staff and she raised it with kitchen who said it was the same as normal. The chips were also frozen. I was offered a coffee or dessert but I did not want one just a redress to my complaint. At £14 I feel it was expensive as I couldn't eat it all.
Coach and Horses – ClitheroeBooked for 4 - on line booking was a real plus! I had the burger - I was disappointed - not because the burger was bad (it was very good) - but because the other 3 had lovely looking meals so I should have gone beyond my normal choices. My wife had mozzarella chicken- large and fantastic. My mother had a beautiful (and huge) fish pie, and her friend had the beef bourginon which also looked good. Starters were very nice ( I had deep fried Camembert) but felt the deserts were not good value for money. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Overall a really good meal and atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend. This will be a 5 on trip advisor from me (in spite of no pie on menu!)
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGood atmosphere and nice food :)
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe went for my friends birthday. Sat upstairs, we sampled a few dishes/tapas.. and cocktail menu. Friendly staff, it was a busy night on the Saturday. Would recommend and visit again.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallAbsolutely amazing every time we go it gets better
Astoria – BurnleyLove Papa Luigis. Been going here for 35 years. Lovely food, the best pizzas I've ever had. Good value for money and a great atmosphere.....if a little noisy at times. Tables are very closely packed together. My only criticism is that I was served an espresso in a large coffee cup. It just goes cold straight away. Staff polite, attentive and happy.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent food and good service, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Astoria – BurnleyWe’ve kind of rediscovered this place after quite a few years absence (nothing to do with this place). We’ve actually been now in consecutive months and ordered the same main courses ,they were that good. Pate starters had a good size chunk of pate, only complaint was that there wasn’t enough toast (one slice). Chicken livers were for me a bit too hot (contained chilli peppers) but a bit overpowering rather than adding a flavour. Menu did state contained chilli tbh. Mains were Tagliolini Almalfi which contained chunks of salmon and broccoli, very nice. Always go for a dessert which was Tirimasu which just melted in your mouth, lovely. Good atmosphere, good service and approx £30 per person for 3 course plus a drink. Tables are relatively close to each other, but enough to give you your own personal space.
