At last, a Sunday lunch which is all you dream it is going to be. Roast beef and roast lamb cooked to perfection, with excellent vegetables, followed by delicious puddings. This is definitely going to be our eating place of choice, particularly as a visit to The Red Pump, so charmingly furnished and decorated, is combined with a drive through our favourite beautiful Lancashire countryside, And I haven't even mentioned the warm welcome from all the friendly and efficient staff. I cannot recommend The Red Pump enough.

Excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was enthusaistic to the point where we were offered 3 menus at the same time! Far better than none! That is being really picky as the staff were generally young and inexperienced, however they were super friendly, Professionally turned out and nothing was too much trouble. Would we recommend a visit....no.....we recommend several visits to try all the menu as our choices were delicious, you will not be disappointed!

Great Hidden Gem, Chef was great took great care of us and the food divine, I have told all my friends how impressed I was especially with how fresh the food was and a big added bonus of food being prepared on site and fresh. Decor was lovely, my favorite spot was the balcony at the back!! Susan

Visited the Dog Inn twice in the past few weeks. The service is amazing, the atmosphere and views were fantastic. The chefs catered for my Gluten free needs and the fish that was sourced from Fleetwood was superb. I love the fact that the food is fresh and locally sourced. As it was my Wedding Anniversary I received a complimentary dessert which was unexpected but well received. Would definitely recommend a visit.

3 of my friends and myself ate here on 25.6.19 Tuesday evening, the place was full which says it all. We all enjoyed our food and evening.

Visited the dog inn for the first time today and safe to say we will definitely be returning! Everything was perfect from the service to the food and everything in between. 100% 5* and I can’t wait to visit again!

Delicious food... every dish we've had has been faultless and love that there is gluten free deserts. The chef's will adjust dishes for intolerance's or vegan/vegetarian they are brilliant chef's and all meals are excellent value for money... My new fav place to eat

Visited the dog for the first time for a saturday evening meal with my wife.Everything we ordered was excellent!!! Price of meal very reasonable,friendly staff.Will definitely be back again soon.Many thanks Andrew and Julie houghton.

Fantastic squash risotto and chocolate mousse to die for.

Another fabulous meal this weekend at our wonderful, local, restaurant. A little noisier than usual as there was a large group on the table behind us, but the food was excellent, the service great and the staff as friendly as ever. Love it.

Great birthday meal! A lovely welcome, taken straight to our seats upstairs which is bright and airy. Good choice of food, served by interested and engaging staff. Cocktails are good and a nice choice too. Potentially more bar staff needed upstairs but I would think this is hard to get right. A really good restaurant for up and coming Rawtenstall, we will come back and back x
