Absolutely amazing food. Beautifully presented. Lovely decoration and lighting inside. The service was very good, so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. I will definitely be coming here again. Too cheap! £15 for 2 main course, a starter and drink! Try the Curried Lamb Samosas. It was thriving?

The Dog Inn – BlackburnProper Lancashire pub with roaring log fire and proper pub grub in the restaurant next door. The beers were top notch (Pendleside was my favourite) and there's a great view at the back of the restaurant. Fish was fresh and triple cooked chips were spot on. We did have to wait a little bit too long to get served but I overheard them saying they had a rush on - good things come to those who wait....

They apologised for the delay in seating us but this gave us ample time to have a drink beforehand at the bar area. The meals were well presented with ample portion size. The service staff checked to ensure everything was satisfactory. It really had a pleasant ambience, we weren’t rushed and would definitely return.

The small details like the cutlery, the plates and dishes etc. have all been addressed so well that it makes for a very pleasant dining experience. These guys know what they are doing! Only downside was that the restaurant was a bit quiet but 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning probably isn't heaving anywhere.
