Dropped in here after a walk around nearby Hoghton Tower. Although fronting the main road, it’s a lovely spot with country views and a beer garden separated by a hedge from the traffic. Smart inside too.

Three of us had a lovely meal. It was relatively quiet and we had good attention from Sara and Tommy. They went out of their way to find details of the different sauces - which were so tasty. As my wife and I were from Cambridgeshire and visiting Preston, we shall look forward to our next visit, especially if involves a visit to this Bistro!

Have been here for breakfast several times and is lovely. This was the first time I have had lunch there and the food, wine and surroundings were all great. Decent price and very well cooked food especially the mussels which were the only ones I have ever had in the UK which rival the excellent ones I had once in Sorrento. Perfect.

This was my second visit for an evening meal - we have had lovely food and great service on both occasions. Just a little suggestion - the starter menu is very fish based with little else to choose from - it would be good to see some additions to that. Otherwise faultless. Thank you

A superbly refurbished Inn located in a lovely village. We had a superb meal here and enjoyed nibbles ( not small ) splendid main courses and without doubt the best pudding I have tasted in years. An inspired take on Manchester Tart with Elton Mess ice cream.

First visit since opening and had a fab night. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Great friendly service and food was spot on. Asked Grant for suggestions of number of small plates and his advice was spot on. Great atmosphere and food was fab, wasn’t to rushed but not slow either. Will definitely go back.

The food was very tasty but very small portions for the Price, just glad we only paid half price that day otherwise I would have been very disappointed, lovely place drinks were good too.

Excellent birthday meal at the Aspinall Arms near Whalley. A gorgeous location, attentive service and we all enjoyed our meals. My cheese pie was very tasty. A superior pub!

Very pleasant decor and excellent service, nothing too much trouble. Food good and tasty, not much out of the ordinary. Good proseco and reasonably priced. Desserts were very good and everything was nicely presented. Will definitely be going back. A very good evening.

Wonderful meal great staff would highly recommend

We have been three times in the last couple of weeks, twice as a couple and once as a group of five, and we haven't ever been disappointed. There is a warm and cosy atmosphere and the food is fantastic. We can't recommend it enough.

This is the third time I’ve been here (lunchtime and evening) and I can’t fault the food. It’s great that they have a good selection of vegetarian choices. Service is friendly and attentive. My only recommendation to visitors is if it’s a chilly day as you enter the restaurant ask to sit to the left as the draught every time the door opens is really chilly for diners sat to the right, in front of the bar area. Apart from that it’s great to have such a great little bistro in Fulwood. Keep up the good work
