Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallIf I could give you a 6/5 I would. It’s such a lovely place and the food is the cherry on top.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnI dined at The Ginger Bistro with some colleagues as a party of 10 on Friday 5th July and couldn't have been more impressed! The Ginger Bistro is a fabulous place to visit and dine, couldn't fault the food, service or atmosphere, great staff and a lovely ambience within the restaurant. The prices for some of the main courses could be slightly less but overall, we left well and truly impressed!

The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe had a lovely evening celebrating our son’s 15th birthday with family and friends at The Ginger Bistro. Thank you to Soji, Simon and all the staff who made our evening go really well, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious...’the best linguine I’ve had. We’ll be coming back and would highly recommend.

Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallHaven’t been to The Red Pump before although I have driven past many times . As we have visited most of the restaurants in the Ribble Valley we fancied a change. We booked on line an hour before we ate , early at 6-15pm . The car park looks like work in progress, so we decided to go straight inside. We were shown to our table and the waiter appeared straight away . We ordered drinks whilst looking at the menu. We noticed a variety miss matched chairs , but I’ll tell you what, soooo comfortable , I had the Pea & asparagus soup , and Chicken & Mushroom pie . One of my pet hates is look-warm soup , there was no need to worry, both were piping hot . My wife also loved her food . I can highly recommend, we will most certainly be returning. Great friendly service also
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeShown to a lovely table, very friendly staff. Unfortunately the wine I drink was only available by the bottle which was a shame so I had to choose something else. The starter took a little while to arrive but was cooked to perfection. My main was the buck breast special which was to my taste slightly over cooked but very tender and juicy. The sides were amazing and the jus was generous.of the meal was fantastic. Best of all the young lady who served us had a beautiful, friendly smile every time she came to our table. I would thoroughly recommend We didn't stay for dessert but the rest
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGorgeous food well presented and the young girl serving us was lovely and attentive looking forward to returning soon
The Dog Inn – BlackburnLovely atmosphere , friendly staff , service good and food tasty
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallVisited The Ginger Bistro about 4/5 times now with various people, sometimes for lunch, dinner or just dropped in for a catch-up-coffee. Each time I have been the service has been good and the food lovely last nigh was no different.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe visited here on Saturday night and got a table early at 5.30pm so it was pretty quiet only 2 other tables in. The setting was nice and nice decor, however the tables are very small so you can't fit a side plate on your table which I find annoying as I feel as it things are going to get knocked off the table easily, also paper napkins! The menu prices looked standard for a good restaurant and we ordered some bread on arrival which I have to say the choices of bread were lovely especially the nutty one, however it came with 2 bottles of the cheapest olive oil, so I asked for some balsamic, I poured a tiny bit on my plate and it was disgusting like it was off it was a very cheap Lidl one so I notified the waitress. Starters were lovely hubby had pate and I had fishcake although neither looked home made it was nice. I ordered chicken for my main which was a special with cheese and tomato and a sweet potato rosti, the chicken was cooked lovely although very sparse tomato the thinnest slice of a cheep salad tomato i've ever seen! For £17 I would expect to actually be able to taste the ingredients. The rosti was horrendous though extreme saltiness in faft so bad that my tongue started burning and has just stopped 3 days later! The rosti tasted nothing like sweet potato because of all the over spice and salt and it was burnt round the edge and the rest soggy as the chicken had been presented on top. I did tell the waitress that I wasn't happy but not sure it was passed on. I think the chefs do spend a lot of time on the food presentation, however it is no good being presented nicely when the flavour and texture, quality of the food is lacking. I will say the waiting staff were lovely and polite, but I didn't see a manager anywhere they didn't come round and see if guests were OK like I would normally expect. So for that reason I wont be returning.
