The Fox and Goose – LancasterI live within 5 minutes walking distance from this restaurant and must say from the day it opened until the present it has been truly magnificent, The food is always perfect and the attention to detail from the friendly staff make this place stand out from the rest. I'd recommend this place before any other and know that i'd be thanked for doing so by the people i'd sent there, that's how good this place is.
Masala Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant and Takeaway – MorecambeI have been going to Anaz about 25 years and it has always been the best. Mr Ali makes you feel so welcome. I have been to Indians in other parts of the country + other countries none compare, I met people in Morrocco from Wigan who said they travel to Anaz every week.
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenWent with friends on a Sunday lunchtime, brought a menu home to show husband and he couldn't believe the choice! The food and service were superb and everyone agreed that it is by far the best tapas in the area, won't be long before I'm back again - in fact, at these prices, I can go every week and work my way through the menu!
La Salsa – DarwenExcellent authentic Italian. Great food.
Pinocchios – PrestonWhat a gem Casa Tapas is!, i wanted to take my girlfriend somewhere special as it was her birthday so we booked a table here for 8pm, it was packed but i can honestly say the waiters and waitresses were top class, nothing too much trouble. We opted for 5 dishes from the hot tapas menu, we were torn between the mussels and the scallops... we chose scallops which were great but next time it has to be the mussels...the plates were huge!, we even had a live flamenco guitarist play right next to our table in the corner...we love this place, can't wait to go again, friendly, great value and you can sit at the bar later or before for as long as you want. Book to avoid a wait....its worth it!.
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallThis is an amazing restaurant and I have been going for 11years now and it is absolutely FAB!! I would definitely, try this restaurant and if you do I promise you will want to come back!! x
Antonello’s – LeylandMy husband and I have frequented Mamma Mia for many years. We have returned because of the consistent high quality of the food and the service. A warm welcome is always guaranteed and, even in the midst of a hectic service, the team have always had time to catch up with us. We have had some fantastic meals, we have a particular soft spot for the fish dishes and the steaks (it is difficult to find a restaurant where a steak is cooked to perfection every time). Another member of my family literally craves the pate starter! Mamma Mia is perfect for either a romantic meal for two or a family celebration. Food ...delicious, greeting...friendly, surroundings...authentic.
Mamma Mia – Burnleydiscovered this pub restaurant by chance a couple of months ago and have been 4 times since. An old pub in burscough village, family owned and operated, easy parking, very nice inside and very friendly staff. Menu is smallish but splendid daily specials all at reasonable prices but the quality stands out, suppliers are named ! tonight I had seared scallops on a tomato and rocket base with a sweet chilli dressing scrumptious !followed by a large gammon steak in a pineapple sauce on a bed of dauphinouse potato plus a pint of shandy made with their own brewed bitter, all in all £15 odd, what a bargain and what a talented chef.
The Hop Vine – OrmskirkFantastic coffee shop! Best cappuccino and mocha around, beats Starbucks or Costa any day. Lovely freshly made sandwiches and paninis. Very friendly place.
Coffee at The Carrington Centre – ChorleyI had a fantastic meal at The Plough, the choice on the menu is fantastic, and the option to personalise your meal with your own choices of sides is inspired. the atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting, the food excellent, the staff attentive but unobtrusive and its all great value for money. I would thoroughly recommend a night at the Plough, and will definitely be returning myself as soon as I get the opportunity! 10 out of 10!!
The Plough at Lupton – Kirkby LonsdaleA great addition to the Lancaster restaurant scene: locally-sourced food, cooked to perfection; simple but relaxed decor; friendly service with just the right amount of attentiveness. A 'must try' if you enjoy good food.
Meeting House Restaurant – LancasterWent for dinner last night with my husband and it was as always superb, the staff are so friendly and the menu is great sooooo much choice we both opted for food off the specials menu and was not disappointed my husband ordered Arabic Grill and i opted for the surf and surf fillet steak was one of the most delicious meals we have eaten in a long long time. It isn't the cheapest but you pay for quality and is definitely worth every penny.
Seasons – ChorleyI have been to Truffles on many occasions and have found it to be the only consistently good restaurant in my area. I believe that this is because the owner James is also the chef, and is always there. He even personally comes to the table to ask if everything is satisfactory. The food is always wonderful, and doesn`t seem to be as expensive as other restaurants that produce the same type of menu. I have also heard wonderful things about the gourmet nights, but I have yet to try one. I will keep you posted!
Truffles – Chorleyye man boss curry house
The Viceroy – LeylandAn absolutely amazing place we were recommended by friends and have never looked back since. The food is amazing, they with even cook a dish to your liking. You tell them what sort of herbs & spices you like and they will cook up a dish to suit you, WOW!! The wine menu is faultless and covers all tastes. Prices are very reasonable, especially when you look at the service you receive, the staff are so friendly and nothing too much trouble. We visit this restaurant as often as we can.
North Street Indian Restaurant – Rawtenstallmyself and family have been going to this restaurant for many, many years. Superb food. Owner and staff very helpful and friendly. would highly recommend.
Great Village – BlackburnThe Plough is the ‘sister hotel’ to the Punchbowl @ Crosthwaite. The food, as you would expect, is excellent. There is a real freedom of choice with the menu - the 'small plates' are exactly as they say which means you can order lots of different starters! The 'grills' menu has a great choice and you order your 'sides' separately which means you have a great choice and it is REALLY good value. There is a great atmosphere, the staff are excellent... what more can I say. A great night out - 10 out of 10
