Mystery Tea House – PrestonI dined at Banny's with my wife and our 2 year old girl. It was so nice to see the staff and manager go out of their way to accommodate us. It's never easy eating out with a young child but Banny's really took the pressure off by looking after us from start to finish. The food came quickly (again this helps) and it was fantastic. The best fish and chips we've ever had. Even though it was busy we were never left for too long without being checked on or served. Full commendation to the food and the staff. Excellent
Banny’s – ColneAnaz is da shittest place iv eaten at. You should go down the road and have a exquisite Feast at Akash Indian Brasserie 01254 706043. Anaz Manager - 07724490494
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenFaultless Indian restaurant. Great service: staff motivated and friendly but never overbearing. Nice layout inside, modern and classy. Most importantly, the food is simply superb. The tastes are clean and spicy and the portions are big. It was also astonishingly good value. We were in a group of four and starters, mains, beers and coffees came to about £100, for a quality of food that seriously is worth twice that. Check it out, you won't regret it.
Shajan – Blackburni've lived in Preston for 45 years, and can see it for what it is, - not a city but a dirty, dying town. what it has done to deserve a gem like this is beyond me. the young polish staff are a credit to their parents, it's just a pity that the staff who normally work in the service industry aren't as pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable.... give it a go and you'll run out of superlatives. didn't try the food, but if you can convince yourself to try something other than a cup of nescafe or builders tea, you will be hooked. the decor and cleanliness of the cafe is second to none wishing them all the best for the future, they deserve to succeed john
Mystery Tea House – PrestonQuite simply, this place is a hidden gem. The staff are wonderful and helpful, and the tea selection is out of this world. After coming out of there, you feel so relaxed and calm. Amazing, simply amazing.
Mystery Tea House – PrestonAfter goodness knows how many fantastic meals at both POND & DUK thought it about time I write a review! My friend and I had a delicious lunch yesterday and her very specific dietary requirements were met without a hint of inconvenience. As always the food was divine, service exceptional, wonderful ambience and very reasonable bill. Everything is always perfect, just too hard to chose from the huge and varied menu. What I really love about it is that day or night, summer winter, shopping, business or pleasure it's just right - not many places master this but POND never disappoints whatever the occasion! Just booked for our xmas do and can't wait!!!
Duk-Pond – PrestonVery modern interior with TV on wall. Comfy seats, friendly attentive staff. Food is to a good standard. I had very nice starter of prawn mango puri starter and main course chicken tikka korma. Peshwari nan was great. Movenpick ice cream was fab for desert/ Only negative is that Side dishes are too small for the £3.50 charged but again very nicely cooked. Rice also served in dish, smaller than usually found in Indians.
Aroma Asian – Burnleyfantastic but long wait for the table but well worth it though service great food fab all in all good night out, special board is superb !
Checcos – PrestonAbsolutely superb! the food was delicious and faultless, the service was second to none, the surroundings are very nice and relaxing even just writing this I am being drawn back, good prices too, if you want a good meal this is a dead cert!!!!
The Lodge – LancasterFour of us dined at the Fusion Room last night (Saturday 14 November 2009) and found the whole experience very enjoyable. The set price menu of £16.50 for two courses plus wine from £9.75 a bottle represented very good value. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent (my lamb shank was tender and tasty and my wife's plaice on pasta was delicious), the atmosphere was lively and the service was friendly & efficient. Definitely one to revisit .
Fusion Room – PrestonInvited by two friends for a mid week meal, we were a little apprehensive as the restaurant doesn't look terribly appealing from the outside. The reception area, bar and dining area are super, newly furnished, modern , very comfortable and inviting but scratch below the surface and there is a lot of work needs doing, toilets etc. However, this is a fabulous restaurant in the making as the welcome was reassuring and the food was exceptional. Presentable, delicious, a super fusion of tastes in each dish, excellent selection of wines and fantastic service. See you there .
Truffles – ChorleyThe Sagar Premier has in my opinion always been the best Indian restaurant for miles around, but as it has just been completely refurbished (Nov 09) it's now in a league of it's own. New decor, bar, seating, linen, lighting etc make the ambience quite special. The food is great and the service friendly and efficient too! It's the eatery of choice for my whole family !!
Sagar Premier – Prestonfantastic. i haven't enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere in one place for such a long time. thank you the white bull. you have provided us with a fabulous local pub and restaurant. jj
The White Bull Hotel Ribchester – Prestonabsolutely brilliant food, atmosphere was very warm friendly and welcoming, the staff are pleasant and very helpful.would definitely recommend this lovely italian restaurant to everyone .will definitely be going back again i enjoyed the food wine and hospitality of all the staff 5* from me
Zio Ristorante – BurnleyThe Vedas Restaurant in Todmorden has to be the finest cuisine to be found for many miles, the food is absolutely wonderful, cooked to perfection, combined with a light airy atmosphere, superb staff, you'd be pushed to find a warmer welcome and a lovely satisfied feeling at the end of your meal........ well worth a visit or three!
Vedas – TodmordenI must have been in a time warp because this was the worst meal we have ever had. My husband's Angus Burger was tiny and burnt with only chips and two tiny pots of coleslaw and tomato relish as a side, I was given chips and had to remind them I had ordered New potatoes and the lamb was the fattiest lamb ever with every mouthful swallowed in a gulp to avoid the taste of fat. The only credit was they did actually refund the lamb meal. The decor is tired and we certainly will not be returning.
Original Farmers Arms – ChorleyWe have been eating at Sukhis since Sukhi took it over. We have never been disappointed with our meals. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and with a couple of days notice they will provide you with the meal of your choice even if it is not on the menu. We eat here at least once a month sometimes more often. On Friday evenings they now provide entertainment by a magician. We can guarantee you will not be disappointed if you eat here.
