i had a tasty pizza here for lunch in beautiful upmarket surroundings. You would not guess how nice it is inside from the exterior. Must try it at night and enjoy the cocktail bar too!

Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallI first went to Etna as a student in 1979 and now, 29 years later I am still going there and still enjoying the food. This place is authentic, cheerful, friendly, reasonably priced and above all consistent. Excellent pizza with the traditional Sicilian thin crust, really good chicken and pasta, superb stuffed mushrooms and excellent desserts (some of which are homemade) Good choice of wine and the owner (Dominic) is a real character and an excellent host. Hope to be eating here for many years to come!!
Etna Pizza Pasta – Lancasterwent for the first time for my 17th birthday in January, i was really pleased with the service me and my boyfriend got and the meals were really nice. will be going again. :-D
Porcinis – PrestonI went here on Thursday and despite it being Valentine's day and it was packed out it was the best meal i have ever had, we had a fantastic time and will be back again very soon!! You must give this little gem a try!!!
Guide Village Restaurant – Blackburnvisited recently.....it is like a little gem in the heart of Croston. Food excellent(but lost its consistency), staff friendly and professional, with a unique way of looking after you... The place would need a bit of changes(decor a bit old)and certainly doesn't need people drinking at the bar in tracksuits and golden chains and a baby roaming free screaming shouting while customers are dining More has to be done
Fresco Fresco – LeylandThis pub is definitely worth a visit. I contacted the bar via e-mail as we were spending a few days in the Lancaster area. The reply was prompt and courteous. When we arrived at the pub the next week our table was reserved for us and the food was wonderful. Perfect pub meals: hot, fresh and plentiful. The service was great and we were so full after a starter and a main course that we couldn't look at the great range of desserts. We'll be back.
The Greyhound – LancasterMy daughter was married there yesterday It was fantastic, The atmosphere the hall the room the staff nothing was to much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend the venue and it is excellent value. It was a perfect place for a very special and perfect occasion.
Mitton Hall – ClitheroeGreat food, very well cooked with obvious skill and care by the chef's, friendly helpful staff who are always smiling. Even on a busy evening the food was delivered in good time and cooked perfectly. It is great to see such quality in an area that until know has been a bit low on high quality places to eat.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyIf you want Brilliant Food, Amazing Atmosphere and Outstanding Service on one very large plate then this is the place for you. Located just off Preston New Road in Blackburn the spacious beautifully decorated entrance in an amazing start to what will prove to be a great night out. That mixed in with large dining space and a car-park to fit roughly 60 cars you will never be let down. Please bear in mind that this is a Buffét Restaurant and at only £10 for all you can eat (not including drinks/chips etc...) you will be surprised how little you will spend. Don't just take my word for it, go take a look for yourself. The Address is: Shahi Qila 6 Shear Bank Road Off Preston New Road Blackburn Lancashire BB1 8AP
Shahi Qila – BlackburnThe Railway is a really great place to eat and drink. The food is always superb, locally sourced and cooked fresh. The Sunday Roast must be the best in Lancashire-it's outstanding! Just what Euxton and Chorley needed!!!
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyWENT TO THE RESTAURANT ON THUR 07 FEB 08 ORDERED A CHICKEN KARAHI. THE CHICKEN WAS FATTY AND THEY USED THIGH MEAT WHICH WAS NOT MENTIONED ON THE MENU. WHEN WE COMPLAINED THEY SAID THAT IS HOW THEY MAKE IT HERE. THOUGHT IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT WE ORDERED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AND WOULD NOT GO AGAIN AS WE THOUGHT THAT THEY DID NOT DEAL WITH THE COMPLAINT AT ALL.
Bukhara – PrestonExcellent food and great value, well worth a visit!!!
Wellsprings Inn Pendle Hill – ClitheroeI visited Fresco Fresco again this Sunday and it was brilliant as always, probably the finest Italian restaurant in Lancashire.
Fresco Fresco – LeylandA fantastic pub and restaurant. I love it!! At last a great place to eat in our area. Keep up the good work.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleySuperb menu. Efficient, friendly service. An atmosphere perfect for conversation, chilling out and savouring every mouthful of their delicious, unadulterated food. A truly scrumptious experience, to be highly recommended.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyThis is a GREAT restaurant that I would highly recommend. The price is higher than average for the area, but don't let it put you off as the quality of food you receive is excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the chef comes to speak to you after your meal, which is a refreshing change. 10/10 - Keep up the good work.
Truffles – ChorleySylet is one of our favourite restaurant. my husband would go every night of the week if it was up to him. The lamb chops are amazing!!
Sylhet – BlackburnThe food at The Greyhound is absolutely delicious! We visited on a Sunday (no roast but we didn't go for that anyway). I had the homemade chicken and mushroom pie which was the best I have ever tasted and my husband had the cheese and onion pie - again delicious. My 4 year old also enjoyed his fresh mini fish and chips. It was great to see a childs menu with all fresh food - no chicken nuggets in sight! Only wish we lived nearer - I'd be there every day for a meal!
