The Elephant – ChorleyGreat place, menu sometimes limited but the food is generally superb. Staff are classy and attentive - owner is slick and friendly without being overbearing and knows everything he is serving which is a great help if you don't know what you want. Room is a bit tight but adds to the intimacy. All this for a very reasonable price - no wonder you need to book early. Marvellous
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonPleasant comfortable surroundings with a welcoming open fire. The 3 course Sunday lunch represents excellent value and good no-nonsense traditional English fair. One of those rare dining experiences where no- one is trying to rip you off. A very pleasant experience.
Greendale View Kitchen and B&B – ClitheroeWe only live locally and visited a few times last summer with some friends we had over from Australia. We promised ourselves to make the time to go more often. We went again for the first time since last year last Thursday and had a lovely meal. We missed James though, I don? think he was working as he always spares the time during the night to some out and chat with you.
Truffles – ChorleyI have visited this restaurant at least once a month over the last 2 years and whether I have sat in or had a takeaway I have never been disappointed, it really is that good!
Beijing Restaurant – BurnleyI'm a regular visitor to the Hospital Inn and I haven't got a bad word to say about the place. The atmosphere is wonderful, very relaxing music in the background, and the staff are so friendly. There is an extensive menu, plus a snack menu and many specials boards in particular one for vegetarians, fish and even a curry menu. The drinks are quite expensive but the food is not so it all evens out. The main dining area is no smoking so it doesn't put you off your food. Service is always quick and with a smile. We dine there with people who come from Darwen just to eat there and enjoy a nice evening. We all go back time and time again as it's such a great place.
Hospital Inn – PrestonI am a lover of tapas and me and a friend came across this place a few months back. The food was fantastic, every dish was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. I've been back several times since and have never been disappointed! I could recommend so many dishes but i'd be here all night. Go and try, it is superb!
La Salsa – DarwenSoupanova is utterly super! The service is outstanding,a real friendly and interesting bunch! The menu is very diverse, with something for everyone. Once tried never forgotten. Congratulations on such a lovely place, just what Lancaster needed.
Soupanova – LancasterWow, what value for money... 3 courses and a bottle of wine for less than £19 each. would highly recommend this place and the new owners Frank and Barbara are very friendly and helpful a+++
The Derby Arms – PrestonCouldn? fault anything about the place, food, service all were outstanding. The location is wonderful. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be returning.
Mr Freds @ Stanley House – BlackburnI had to write a review on Tinos, being a regular visitor and never once having a bad meal there. The food is always wonderful with plenty of choice on the menu, the staff are always helpful and attentive and I think it is run by an Italian family and they are always the best restaurants to go to! I would recommend anyone to try Tinos especially as it is not just pasta and pizza on the menu, plenty of authentic Italian cuisine is available.
Tinos – PrestonWe are regulars here - there is always a warm welcome and the staff are friendly yet professional. Steaks and pasta are always excellent. The restaurant is also very child-friendly.
Amico Mio – ClitheroeIn my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the local area. The food is exceptional - I have been many times and have ordered many different dishes and have fully enjoyed every single one of them. The service is fantastic - quick, friendly and courteous. The prices are slightly on the high side but it is worth every penny and they offer a 20% discount if you are collecting a takeaway. Simply the best!
Golden Dragon – LancasterI have visited this restaurant on a few occasions now. One was for a friends birthday party and the others were with a couple of friends. The service on all my visits has been very good, especially for the birthday party where they gave us balloons and a birthday cake. The food is delicious (I recommend the paella) and the decor of the restaurant is exactly to my tastes. A meal here is a very enjoyable experience.
Crows – LancasterI recently visited this restaurant with a party of over 20 people. The friendly restaurant manager welcomed us personally and made sure our meal was a very enjoyable experience. The service was exceptionally quick for a party of this size and the food was very tasty. Highly recommended!
Bella Italia – Lancastergood food good drinks good prices
Hollywood Star – BurnleyWe go to Alfredos every week after trying nearly every restaurant in Morecambe and Lancaster this has to be the best yet. The service is excellent, the food portions are more than generous and its affordable. It has a great atmosphere perfect for any occasion I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough
Saffron Indian Restaurant – MorecambeThis lovely bar with mezzanine has turned around the fortunes of those of us that want a bit of chilled out space in town. The couple who run it are great, the staff are friendly and the choice of drinks really good. Tim makes all his own shots, the chilli one being the best. Food is good, even for veggies and there is rumour of great value organic wines on the menu for Spring. Check out the comedy night once a month for some top laughs too.
