The food here is excellent and the menu offers an impressive choice for vegetarians. Couldn't fault the service either - attentive and friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Bukhara – PrestonFantastic food and the service was spot on - just the right amount of attention and very friendly. We will definitely be going back. Don't forget to book ahead, particularly for a weekend evening
Thyme and Plaice – ChorleyTHE MEAL WAS FANTASTIC WE ENJOYED IT SO MUCH WE ARE GOING AGAIN TONIGHT. IF YOU LIKE THAI FOOD DO NO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK AT THE THAI ORCHARD. CARLY&JOHN
Thai Orchid The – PrestonWell what can i say, the service of the staff was out of this world extremely help full write from the minute we stepped in the place to the minute we stepped out. i have to say that the service here is the best i had for a long time. Not only that the menu choice is vast along with the wine list. i cant speak any higher of the food which we ate which was no less than perfect. It is not a cheap place but then good food isn? cheap I think for what you get the food is well priced.
The Cellar Restaurant – BurnleyThe most beautiful Cantonese food you will ever eat, very experimental with the food and brilliant results that will set your taste buds alight!! Would recommend any day! Make sure you book well in advance because they are always fully booked at weekends!!
Stayed here last weekend and enjoyed it immensely. My wife and I stayed in one of the new rooms (room 26) and the design of the room is superb. Very contemporary, comparable with a top end boutique hotel complete with plasma tvs, original modern artwork and multi jet shower thing. They've spent money on secondary glazing for the sash windows and the general feel of the place is quality. Superb value at £70 a room, I pay two or three times this price for other boutique hotels. Breakfast (included) is also special, with oddities such as goose eggs, several varieties of bacon and sausages and home made baked beans !! Lovely stay, highly recommended.
Sun Hotel and Bar – LancasterSituated in a row of shops the external view is very deceptive the Nila is quite large inside tables near the bar and 2 long rows of alcove seats. I have been there a few times and the food has always been good and the menu is ok with no surprises. The alcove seating is fine for 4 people but the seating at the front of the restaurant which accommodates larger parties is too near the bar and can be cold in winter with the door always opening. The service is fine and usually has a pleasant atmosphere. Overall I've had good meals and good times. I could recommend a visit.
Nila – RawtenstallThis is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. It looks nothing from the outside but venture in and taste the delights that await you. We have just paid our second visit here after making many trips to Nino's Italian restaurant just up the road from here. What a delight we have been missing all this time. Our second visit was even better than our first. On Friday and Saturday evening there is a classical/flamenco guitarist Robin Hill who is superb and creates the perfect atmosphere for enjoying Tapas food cooked to perfection. Do not delay book your table now and see what you are also missing.
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallWell worth finding. Top notch food well presented. Landlady Rachel is a bit of a find as well. Don't give any cheek - you'll get loads back. Our 4 star find of the year. A very warm and friendly welcome.
The Buck Country Pub – ClitheroeWonderful I go a few times a month and it is good, may not look much from the outside but you get a warm welcome and lovely food at great price.
Happy Village – ChorleyA real gem! Lovely interior, very friendly, helpful staff. Menu has lots of choices all of which sound so tempting it was hard to know what to pick. The food is really fresh and the ingredients are the quality you would buy for yourself and family, rather than the cheaper catering alternatives which so many places serve up. I would recommend with confidence to anyone.
Artisan Cafe Bar – RawtenstallWe have been going to Huntleys at night for a few months. We have always found the food excellent and nothing is too much trouble for both mark and the staff.
Huntleys – PrestonI have been here on a few occasions and always had a very good meal! Really enjoyable place!
Mangiamo – DarwenI've been to Alghero's about 10 times now and everytime I have a very nice meal - the food is always excellent! It always comes well presented and always hot enough. I mainly go on a Friday or Saturday night - that is their busiest time you therefore more than often have a long wait to be seated at your table (even if you have booked) - however there is a bar area where you can wait and have drinks and look at the menu. During the week i.e Mon - Thurs nights is not as busy therefore you can be seated when you are ready. The open kitchen is really nice - My thoughts are that if a restaurant has an open kitchen they have nothing to hide. If you are thinking of having a fantastic Italian meal I would defo recommend this - they have never let me down yet!!! Oh yeah - i would recommend the chicken in asparagus and white wine - really nice!!! and all the pizzas are lovely!! :O)
Alghero – ChorleyWe recently had a retirement party on the royal sovereign and it was brill, we were consulted on what kind of night we wanted, and it was a very lively one! the staff were extremely polite, helpful and very good at their job! Especially to put up with a boat full of drunken old farts!!! Cheers
Boatel Party Cruises – ChorleyWe went at lunchtime and took advantage the lunchtime special menu, which worked out at under a fiver each. I had pasta and my wife had a rissotto and they were both fantastic. Good portion size too, not the usual cut down version you sometimes get on an special menu. Would highly recommend.
Parmesan And Pepper – ChorleyWe went on a weekday before 7.30 so chose off the 'Early Bird' menu - £11.95 for two courses or £13.95 for three. The food was lovingly presented and tasted great! The quantities were just right too. Recommended!
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonThe food at the sun cafe perfectly matches its chilled out atmosphere and style. With dishes ranging from wahoo fish to spaghetti carbonara, it provides something for everyone and you can sample a different dish everytime you go in. The wines and cocktails are great too!!
