The Station Hotel – LancasterBooked for a family birthday celebration. Two of us ordered the lasagne from the specials menu, which turned out to be vegetarian even though it hadn't stated that on the menu. It was a very poor version of a veggie lasagne too - just a few chunks of veg in a very sloppy sauce and hardly any pasta. Expensive for what it was and my daughter left most of hers. Raised it with a staff member when he came to collect the plates but just told they would correct the menu - no apology for misleading us.
The Waterwitch – LancasterAmazing food
The Waterwitch – LancasterAs always everything was fantastic I love eating there
The Station Hotel – LancasterWhat a wonderful place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The staff could not be more helpful, the food was out of this world. Will definitely recommend The Station Hotel and will be back soon.

The Station Hotel – LancasterCame here for tea Saturday, table booked for 7pm. Arrived at 7pm there was no one to greet us at the door and we were left hovering around until someone asked us if we’d booked. Once seated we were given menus but no one came to take our drinks order. Got to about 7:20 and a waiter asked if we’d been served, so we ordered our drinks. When the drinks came we asked if we could order food, we ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. All the tables around us had no food but a lot of empty drinks so we knew by this point we’d be waiting a while. The starters came out about 8pm, really nice food. After we’d finished this and the plates were cleared. A waiter brought our 2 exact meals past us, he looked lost, then he carried them to the bar and then back up to the kitchen? At about 8:45 our mains arrived, the same 2 dishes he was carrying before and the food was warm not hot. I had chicken burger and chips, there was about 7 fries on my plate! I asked if this was normal and the girl said no and brought me another portion. Food was nice though just needed to be hotter but this was because it had been sat in the kitchen under the warmer for so long. If we wanted more drinks we had to ask. So the serve was very slow and staff weren’t attentive, but they were kind and helpful when you asked.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterVery nice family evening at Sydney’s. Last minute booking. The staff was very friendly and proactive in dealing with delays from the kitchen. The food was nice.

The Waterwitch – LancasterLovely family dinner on a busy Saturday night. Attentive waiting team who were warm and friendly. The service and food were both good - we all enjoyed our evening and will go back next time I’m in Lancaster.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterGreat food really enjoyed every mouthful would definitely go again
The Waterwitch – LancasterIt was our first family visit and we enjoyed the Sunday lunch. The only downside was you did not serve the Sunday lunch in kids portions. So we had to purchase an adult’s portion for a 8 year old. Good job she has a good appetite.
The Waterwitch – LancasterLovely lunch at the Greyhound!
The Greyhound – LancasterFood was good, staff are brilliant and friendly and the service is always on point.
The Station Hotel – LancasterA close spot to our Airbnb! We loved it. Great steak & ale pie, my husband had the lamb pot and really liked it. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Felt like a place full of locals.
