Had a lovely meal on Saturday evening for 4 of us … we sat upstairs which was lovely as it was very busy downstairs … service was excellent .. very friendly our waitress was Lucy and the food was really good … a lady next to us had the tagliatelle and u certainly got a huge portion I had the fish and chips which was really good

The Waterwitch – LancasterLovely visit on Sunday, 25/9, with 5 adults, including one who needs gluten free. The service was really good - friendly and quick even though they were busy. The waitress took time to go through the menu to show which options were suitable for gluten free.... and there was a lot of choice! The food itself was excellent: 3 various roasts (one with a gluten free Yorkshire pud), pizza (huge) and the hanging kebab which was really good. The only downside was that we were so full we did not have room for the yummy desserts! Very pleased with our visit and highly recommend.

Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterLovely lunch at the Station hotel on Friday 16 september which was equal distance for me and my mum and siblings. They catered for my vegan, gluten free daughter and understood her issues. We were too full to eat a pudding! We would definitely meet there again!

Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterI'd booked Sydney's because I saw they do a fish sharing platter which Mum and I love. The staff were very friendly, but when our food arrived we found mussels that hadn't opened and the salad that was served with our dish, limp and inedible. We did point out this mistake and the chef on the day sent their apologies but when I had booked this as a present to my Mum for her birthday I was disappointed.

Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterWe had a lovely meal on Saturday evening. .Lucy was our server and was attentive and looked after us well. We had Fish pie and Fish and chips with a hummus starter. All delicious as was the Merlot. This was our 4th visit and is one of our favourite restaurants. The background d music is just our taste. All in all a lovely evening.

Although the website says it is an old Methodist Church, it was built as a United Methodist Church but became a Pentecostal Church in the 1950's until it finally closed on Easter Sunday 1986. I used to attend this church in the days on a regular basis!
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterThree of us went for a meal at The Station last night (31/08/22), which was about the third time in 10-12 weeks. Excellent ales, seems a very genuine place, various old train memorabilia around. Food was very good, prompt (we had pre-booked) and they even went the extra mile for our friend who requested vegetarian gravy with her cheese pie and chips - quality service there. Will almost certainly return, and can recommend.
