Fantastic Sunday roast!!

Great food, lovely pub & friendly staff.

Very loud live music echoed into upstairs restaurant. Food less than average beef burger disappointing , over cooked and dry, fish pie dry and tasteless. Manager rude to waitress within earshot and ordered her not to take any drinks or food orders from us at about 9.00pm. Table was booked for 8.00 pm. Basically eat and run! Waitress was excellent under trying circumstances.

Another beautiful meal at this lovely restaurant. Thai fishcakes were amazing, as was the warm goats cheese salad. Great service, apart from having to ask for the bill several times...hence 4 not 5 but other than that couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our meal at The Sultan last weekend. My Mum and I tried their special byriani, cooked in a sealed clay pot in the traditional way, and it was lovely. My Mum found our bhuna curry sauce & sag paneer a bit too salty, but overall enjoyed the experience. The service was great, the free dessert was a bonus and being booze free the bill was very decent too!!

We booked a table to celebrate my daughters graduation, which turned out to be the hottest day of the year! We decided to sit outside by the canal. The pub is at a great location. The staff were v friendly, the menu had a good selection of classic pub grub. There was also an additional Graduate Menu. It was all very reasonably priced, and we received a 10% student discount on top. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food, served within a reasonable time. Great value for money and a great atmosphere! We will be back and have already recommended multiple times!

Great atmosphere, fantastic service and wonderful food. Very accommodating for larger parties and everything was excellent.

Highly suggest taking advantage of their Happy Mondays offer. Excellent value and terrific food. Loved the crushed peas with the fish & chips.

Nice locations and great variety of vegan & gluten free meals, which is the main reason we chose to dine there. Unfortunately though, my daughter's burger was delivered to the table raw in the middle twice and she didn't have a main course.

We have visited this superb pub several times and have always enjoyed great food, served by friendly and efficient staff in a really dog friendly atmosphere. * * * * *

Lovely location, place has a great atmosphere and staff were lovely and really helpful but the food let it down.

Lunchtime meal . Lovely food , pizza fabulous and cheesy . Fish and chips , perfect batter, and delicious beef patties. Good service . Will be back for evening meal .

Our first visit to Sydney’s of Lancaster, I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! The food was absolutely delicious (I got the beef burger + my other half got the chicken burger). We will visit again for sure!
