Really enjoyed our meal at Sydney's, excellent food and great service. Definitely be eating there again.

I don't like writing this review as the staff were amazing. But having been to India 4 times and many restaurants in the UK I felt I had to. My husband and I found the food very average and not at all authentic or interesting.

First visit to Sydney's on Saturday evening with 4 friends. What an amazing place this is! The decor inside is so relaxing and beautifully done, and so welcoming. The service was first class, the young waiter and waitress couldn't do enough for us, even helping out with bill at the end! The food was the best I have had in a while, the sharing boards were delicious and two of us had the special Chateaubriand, the nicest cooked steak ever. A wonderful evening had by all, can't wait to return!

Me and my wife visited for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary early, food was excellent! Nice cosy atmosphere and servers all were amazing! Will definitely book again in the future!

Food was simple and tasty. Service slow due to large party. Pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

Our second visit to this establishment and once again we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, service excellent, staff very friendly and helpful.

Our Sunday lunch was superb. Meat pie had a great crust on with ample meat inside. Delicious gravy. Big portions. You could see each dinnercwas made with care. Staff so polite and friendly. Will definitely be coming again

The environment is wonderful as it feels as if you're sitting in an old street. The redesign is just beautiful, sensitive to its heritage but beautifully upgraded. Waitress, Evie, was a pure delight paying very close attention to our reasons for being there and ensuring we had everything we needed recommending things from the menu when asked. The menu is far from traditional but still has something for everyone from specials that bring an opportunity to try something new to standard fish and chips for people less adventurous. Literally can't wait to go again and well worth a visit.

Dined here for the first time last night. Impressed with our reception where my online booking detailing a severe allergy had been noted and acted upon. Also impressed by the enthusiasm of the bar/waitress who was valiantly racing around doing both jobs as some staff had not yet aarrived (it was 5.30). Unfortunately the service was unsurprisingly slow, so we opted to settle for only a main course because we were due at the theatre for 7.30. The menu choices were rather short of vegetarian options, and also rather too many fish based dishes, but my tagliatelle was delicious and the seasoning and use of tarragon made it a far less boring dish than I expected. We will give it another go sometime soon!

Food was good with a decent portion. Service needs refining - a few frustrating issues here. The building is beautiful and unusual. It struggles to gain any atmosphere though as it's a very large place and there were very few customers in when we were there.
