Welcoming friendly staff. Had Sunday roast beef, everything cooked perfectly
The Station Hotel – LancasterGreat all round experience. Wide selection of drinks and a varied menu meant there was something for everyone. Fish and chips was a hearty portion, the hanging kebab was flavourful and the cauliflower wings are delicious!
The Station Hotel – LancasterOur fist visit to The Station and we weren't disappointed. The Sunday Dinner was amazing, and the Stick Toffee Pudding was to die for. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again
The Station Hotel – LancasterWe ate here Friday evening the service was excellent, food was very nice, ambience so nice and chilled. Brilliant. I booked Sunday evening with my daughter and friend, we enjoyed it all, best nights out I have had in a long time. Pizza's delicious, Chicken stack delicious, steak and blue cheese sandwich exceptional. Would 100% recommend, we will certainly be regulars.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterFood was lovely and the place looked great! We’ll be back again :)

The Station Hotel – LancasterWent for a meal with friends Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was really good. Food was excellent at a reasonable price. We will be eating there again
The Station Hotel – LancasterBeautifull meal as always, service very good and food very promptly delivered even though it was Easter Sunday
The Waterwitch – LancasterAbsolutely gorgeous food! Service a bit slow but it was busy and not been open long so understandable. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterFood was ok, not wow just average. Some bits were missed off but replaced without fuss when asked. Good selection of the basics. Prices were a bit high for what we got though. Atmosphere was good. Busy but not too busy. Service was average.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterBrilliant experience Food excellent. Service excellent Value for money excellent. Staff helpful and welcoming Well done to all . Dog was even made welcome
The Waterwitch – LancasterWe booked a table for 8.30 and when we got there we were told we would need to order quickly as they stopped cooking at 9pm. We ordered starters: 2 x salt pepper squid (these tasted like they were deep fried from frozen) and the bread with oils (these were fine). Our mains were 3x classic burgers (good) 1 x chicken burger (good) and I ordered sea bream fillet with a prawn and mussel risotto - this was from the specials menu. The serving was huge - the fish (two fillets) were over cooked and dry, the risotto was a mass of dry rice. I was extremely disappointed and only managed two forkfuls of the risotto and one fillet. It’s a nice location and the pub had a friendly atmosphere but I think you need to stick to the “pub food”.
The Waterwitch – LancasterThis was our first visit to the waterwitch the food was of a good standard the bread and oil starter was fantastic but my lamb shank main course was not to my liking it was covered in tomato paste which was very overpowering was expecting it to be a tomato based sauce not how it was presented and would not allow the taste of the lamb to shine the desert was fantastic Eton mess The staff were friendly and attentive the atmosphere busy but relaxed can't wait to visit again but would choose a different main like the fantastic pizzas or roast beef
The Waterwitch – LancasterFood very good, staff very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely visit again
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterReally lovely meal, attentive staff, restaurant was very busy but they worked hard to make sure everything was perfect.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterVisited on 11/04/22 Group of 6, service wasn’t great, had to keep asking for drinks rather than being asked, they did say they were short staffed but then shouldn’t take walk ins if that’s the case. Staff never checked if meals were ok, they were just average especially for the price. The staff that served us were pleasant though very inexperienced.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterSunday Roast: 2 courses, £19; 3 courses, £23.
