Very good menu , reasonable prices, but I will say it was one of the best curries I have had .Well worth a visit

Booked a table for a Friday afternoon for two people. Pub was quiet however the service was incredibly slow. Food was average however due to the time it took to get food & drinks, we would not return.

This was the first time for us at the Sultan of Lancaster and we enjoyed it very much indeed, only one thing wrong the food could have been a bit warmer, because by the time you started eating it was just and so warm. The food we had was of a high standard and cooked to a high standard we will be back for sure.

We booked a table outside on the bank holiday Sunday afternoon. It is such a relaxing & chilled place to have lunch, with great views of Morecambe bay. I had the beef roast and Mrs B had the lamb. Both were delicious. This is the third time this summer we have stopped off here for lunch when visiting Morecambe and we definitely plan to return.

Friendly service. Nice menu- good portion size and selection of veggie dishes. Good value for money.

I’ve eaten here several times in the past and never been disappointed until now. We ate here on Sunday night and half the things on the menu weren’t available. No gravy for the roasts, no burgers and no pizzas! I had fish and chips and the chips were hard and the peas were like cheap tinned mushy peas. My partner had chicken salad and the chicken was totally dry. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Good food excellent service friendly helpful staff good value

We ordered the gammon. When the food came it was warm but not hot. We had grilled tomatoes on our plates that were cold, even though they had been seared. We ordered drinks as the main course arrived, but they didn’t arrive by the time we’d finished the main course. We asked for them again and we still had to wait another 10mins. The desserts were good, sticky toffee pudding delicious.

My cousin and I recently had lunch here and both the food and the service were excellent.

Lovely food

Lovely food, lovely location, lovely people. Reasonable prices. Shame about the small size portion of the sausage and mash.

We booked on line and got a nice. Greeting when we got there , the man and young lady work very well together, brilliant customer service, the food was excellent best Indian meal I have ever had, wish I lived nearer would be there regular. I highly recommend would give 5 star plus . Well done and beautiful setting too.

Most enjoyable meal, generous portions, speedy service

On arrival we were informed there would be a wait for food due to a large party. Whilst waiting we were constantly updated by friendly attentive staff. The food was excellent and well worth the wait, food was hot nicely served and full of flavour , we left extremely satisfied with the service and the food and wouldn’t hesistate to recommend a visit to anyone. Can’t wait to return.

After a few hours in the pouring rain walking around Lancaster it was a real treat very nice well cooked and tasty meal good service, and only gave the atmosphere a 4 due to loud party of girls lol Would recommend and will be back when the sins out as lovely canal side location
