Visited Brooke’s on a Saturday evening and atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Staff were superb and the overall vibe was excellent. The food we ordered was very tasty and beautifully presented. However, I think we ordered poorly as all our dishes were quite dry and when having a side dish of rice it all became very hard to eat. We felt most of the dishes we ordered needed more sauce to them, if having rice as a side dish.

This is THE place to go in Malton. A repeat restaurant for me for amazing food and friendly service. I want to eat everything on the menu and love the banter with the staff... definitely check it out

Always a warm welcome by friendly and courteous staff. We enjoyed the 'bar' menu which had a good selection of choices taken from the main menu. All food was delicious and the atmosphere was great too. Thank you to Team Omni

What an amazing restaurant, beautiful location beautiful food and fantastic service. We shared the seafood platter and wow it was amazing. We’ve had seafood all over the world and this was one of the best. To also allow our very well behaved Doberman Ruby was an added bonus Booking again for September when relatives from New Zealand are over.

When we arrived (at 18:30) and were shown to our table the waiter (who i later found out was a manager) stood talking to somebody blocking us from sitting down. Once sat we waited over 15minutes for somebody to take a drinks order, it was hot no one offer water for the table or anything we then waited approximately 15minutes for somebody to take our food order. The starters (3 garlic mushroom starters) arrived at 19:20 this was nice and hot on arrival. The two men in waistcoats spent more time moving furniture around than looking after guests (lifting chairs over my head and where they moved the table to was to tight for the people to sit so they left) We had to grab a waiter’s (a blonde young man) attention to bring water to the table and without speaking to us he just turned around while we were speaking to him and walked off to get it (some hospitality customer service training maybe needed) At 19:55 we had to inquire where our mains were, these were then brought out by a waiter called Charlie (the only person who actually seemed to care and was waiting every table inside and out, he didn’t seem to have a section he was all over and working really hard and deserves recognition) The mains Duck (requested without cherry sauce) - came without vegetables, i had to inquire and they were then brought out, the duck was slightly over cooked and dry (had obviously been sat on a hot plate for a while) Fish tacos (scampi and cod) : didnt come with tartare sauce even-though that is stated on the menu this meal arrived completely cold I showed the manager who sent it back to the kitchen to be warmed up Tex Mex: this was underwhelming as a main course, lacking flavour chicken parmo: was ok but have had better on other occasions We originally planned to have desserts then a few more drinks but decided to leave after the mains We did get some money off the bill as a good will gesture, however this I feel was not enough for the diabolical service we experienced. The front of house staff need training in hospitality Service would run more smoothly if each waiter had their own section so tables were not getting missed It seems on this particular evening the house was over booked and not staggered enough putting pressure on the kitchen and bar staff which resulted in food being sent back and long wait times for both food and drinks. This has been one of the worst services I have ever experienced and will not be recommending this establishment anymore

Had dinner and a couple of drinks on Saturday, food was absolutely spot on and service matched .Steak pie was gorgeous and the belly pork was as good if not better. I would highly recommend Royal Oak.

Our 3rd visit to The Aegean. We had the mixed souvlaki, with additional Greek salad and tzatziki. The chicken, pork and the country sausage were outstanding, as was the Greek salad. Disappointed with the lamb as it was tough, so couldn’t eat it. Overall a nice meal though. Would be nice to have Greek salad Portion size was quite big, maybe the option of a light bite too would be good.

Second visit in a week. Best pub food in Settle.

We booked a meal at denmans on Thursday nite for our first visit on recommendation from my son who’s been before and loved everything about it . Lovely cosy room with a nice bar and the lady who greeted us was so friendly . We chose 5 small plates from the 5 for £40 menu and the food was amazing quality ingredients cooked perfectly and very clever presentation.Some of the best food we have ever eaten and cant wait to come back .Highly recommended 5⭐️

Wow ! Party of 9 for my husbands birthday. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. The all you can eat is a great experience, small plates so you can sample many dishes and flavours. Every person in our party enjoyed it and we’ll definitely be back.

First return since we moved 5 years ago. Food well up to standard and service fast and friendly. Lovely to be back.

The food was excellent. However the service to take orders and clear plates between courses was very slow.

We came for tea for my mums birthday and it was amazing the servers were so polite and cheerful.The food so delicious and fresh we will definitely be coming back!

This is an absolutely amazing place ; the setting is lovely, bright , spotlessly clean and despite there being a number of tables obviously you didn’t feel squashed or too close to anyone else. The service was wonderful the perfect balance of making sure you were ok etc to not invading your evening.Staff were friendly, polite and professional. Food was exceptional! We had the all you can eat Buffett which is a fantastic way to be able to try all the different delicious items on their menu- I would highly recommend this . The atmosphere was friendly, calm yet had a nice vibe. I would highly recommended this restaurant!!
