Visiting Ilkley, we were recommended to eat at Brooks, a family run restaurant. We were not disappointed. We booked online, it was easy to do. The service was top notch, food choices were fabulous, there was 5 of us so we ordered 2 dishes each, as the portions are similar to tapas. All the dishes were amazing. When we are in the area again we will definitely dine here again.

This is our third visit and we are never disappointed with the service or the food and will be happy to visit again

What a little gem! I’ve been coming to Bridlington for years and finally got booked in last week. From the moment I arrived staff were attentive and I felt very welcome. The menu wasn’t too overwhelming which is something I appreciate and the specials on offer sounded amazing. We had the lobster ravioli and the tagliatelle with pistachio sauce. Wow! Amazing taste with absolutely no faults, ultimately the staff made the experience amazing for me and my husband. Checking in for drinks, satisfaction with food etc and all with smiles on their faces. Really good team you’ve got there. Compliments to chef and staff we will definitely be back

Been a while since we visited this little gem and it didn't disappoint. Service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was delicious. My wife and I both ordered from the All You Can Eat menu...had 12 Tapas in total and a bottle of wine, all for £60....bargain. Will be booking again soon.

Our second visit to this Bistro. Great food, great service. Best meal we've had locally since leaving France and so looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend this restaurant. You will certainly not be disappointed Richard Burnett.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Booked on line with no problems. The food is amazing every time we visit. All the staff are friendly, and welcoming. Would highly recommend for a meal any day of the week. Thank you all.

Arrived and the restaurant was busy - waited a little while to be shown to our table. One side of the table had food under it - probably dropped by the previous occupants - took a little while to clean up the mess but carvery was gorgeous - plenty of meat and a choice of 4. Plenty of veg, yorkies and stuffing and gravy. Service was good for the drinks. As we were all paying separately this had to be done at the till instead of getting the bill at the table and then sorting it there. Overall very nice

Booked for a meal with a friend before going to The Victoria Hall in Settle. As it was a Sunday we both opted for the roast beef and were not disappointed. The beef melted in your mouth, perfect roast potatoes and a huge Yorkshire pudding accompanied by a lovely selection of vegetables, two clean plates! We just had room to sample the Yorkshire rhubarb creme brulee which was delicious. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional.

After many many visits it’s the same old same old ie great food, brilliant service, excellent value for money..first class..a must visit

Authentic and delicious food, friendly and excellent service. Specially lovely the guy from Bangladesh and the girl as well. Superb mojito mocktail. We had 2 mixed plates and the 3 tapas option. The food was plenty and very good quality. Can only recomend

Once again the carvery was lovely but the only thing missing again was the mashed turnip, we were told it’s because it’s out of season but other places that do carvery’s are still serving it, the one thing I can’t understand is why they are not doing a carvery on new yrs day , we used to go every new yrs day for it but last year when we booked and turned up it was a set menu I asked the waiter if they were doing it this year and unfortunately they are not because it’s a week day they only do carvery’s on a weekend, most people like me count new yrs day as a Sunday roast day I think they are missing out on a good thing so unfortunately we won’t be booking tickets mill for this new yrs day we will be booking elsewhere that will be doing a carvery.

Food- amazing. Our second visit- I had scampi and got loads! Everyone else had great portions. The only minus points were, both last time and this time, it took ages for them to clear our plates away, last time it wasn’t done until we left. Also, we had our dog with us and we love going to a dog friendly pub but again, last time and this time there was a dog at the bar barking a lot and I guess the owner is a regular or works there as there was no effort made to quiet it. All other dogs in bar, (at least 5) all beautifully behaved though.

The wait here is usually a little longer than other places but when you get the food you realise why. It's always fresh, piping hot and delicious. I eat here fairly regularly for business functions and I recommend it. The food is lovely, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is really good - not too loud but not sterile either. If it's a sunny day there are some lovely seating areas outside.

We came for my son’s 8th birthday, amazing staff so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was lovely and fresh. At the end of the meal they did the happy birthday song with an ice cream and a candle for my son which he throughly enjoyed! We did find the prices have gone up for since our last visit (we visit a few times a year) but that is to be expected with the current times.

Came with my son for his 20th birthday meal, just the two of us . Despite being incredibly busy for a function, the place was clean and tidy, service was excellent, food came quickly but not too quickly that it felt rushed and the food was as always, truly amazing. We’ve eaten here a few times over the years and the expectation is high but they didn’t disappoint. The young waiter is a lovely person and very good at his job.. thank you Arthur

We ate here twice during our week in Askrigg. Excellent food both times with lovely service and a relaxed ambience.
