I booked our table back in April as I was planning to visit Bridlington over Aug BH with all of my family for my daughter’s birthday and had heard amazing things! I emailed the day before to make sure that I could bring a birthday cake for my daughter and Alessio got back to me straight away to say ‘no problem at all’. On the evening of our booking, our waiter Curtis was so friendly and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were amazing to be honest! In summary, this place is AMAZING! 6 adults and 3 kids and every single one of us said it was the best meal we had ever had! There are a few ‘foodies’ in the group (and anyone with kids knows that they are also the harshest critics!) and they were full of praise too! Great food, great atmosphere and great food-we honestly can’t wait to return!

First visit tonight. Lovely little place, and was busy. Quick service, nice food ,very hot abd tasted great. Nice little find. Would visit again .

Amazing food, staff so friendly and helpful, price just right, we are here most of the summer in our static caravan and this is our favourite restaurant, we eat out regularly at home so we feel we know our Italian food

This was our first experience of the King's Arms since it has been under HPB management and we thought it was excellent. Thank you for two enjoyable dinners this week.

Delicious food and friendly service .

booked for a Sunday dinner at around 1pm. It took 10 mins for someone to come over and ask us for our drinks order and then another 30 before we could queue for our food. I know it’s busy on a Sunday but over 40 mins for a carvery is a bit silly. The meat was lovely, especially the gammon and beef, very generous slices and the chefs on the carvery were kind and helpful. However the veg/sides could’ve been a lot hotter and there could’ve been a larger selection of vegetables as there was carrots, parsnips, mushy peas and broccoli and cabbage. It felt very limited for what used to be a top tier carvery. We ordered a water and a drink each and the waitress gave us an unimpressed look because we wanted tap waters? Bit odd and rude to be honest. After our meal we got our plates collected and offered a dessert menu. It took 20 minutes and we had to ask twice for a dessert menu. If it wasn’t for my friend really wanting a dessert I’d have personally paid and left. And the desserts are quite overpriced as it is - £7.50 for cheesecake which arguably is a large slice but also £7.50 is pushing it. And to be honest, the dining rooms were not full when we were there at all. Very very slow service from what is normally really good! The manager in at the time checked on us and was shocked we hadn’t had a dessert menu but the rest of the staff just seemed unimpressed and not engaging at all, standing about chatting. The lady on the front desk and the manager of the day were absolutely lovely though.

Roast Dinner was delicious. Desert was even better Lemon Meringue Pie and a Cherry Cheesecake. Service and staff excellent.

We have been many times over the years Much better since the restaurant put full table service and have stopped customers going to the bar to pay for meals and getting drinks The vegetable selection was absolutely amazing Roasted Parsnips,Cabbage, Carrots, MushyPeas, Broccoli (Broccoli was slightly hard for our taste but maybe suited others) Mashed Potatoes, Roast Potatoes, Stuffing Balls, Yorkshire Puddings Delicious Gravy, Horseradish, Apple Sauces to complement the meat Choice of meat was Beef, Gammon, Pork, Turkey Breast Used to love the traditional jam rolly poly pudding with custard for afters Been taken off the menus for some time now (Shame as was really delicious) At no point did we feel rushed Waiters and Waitresses very pleasant and polite

Went to Banarasi for the first time as my partner highly recommended it. We both had the all you can eat menu. We were served the first lot of food which was 4 plates and then the 3 plates in the first 50 minutes. However the dining experience went downhill due to waiting 45 minutes for our order to be taken for the 2 plates which followed. We waited over an hour for the next plates which tainted the visit as we didn’t feel very looked after - our finished empty small plates were on the table for all that time as no staff member checked on us to take our order. The restaurant itself is lovely and well maintained with gorgeous food presented to a high standard. Felt invisible the last hour of being there and wanted to leave as it was not the evening we had in mind, the restaurant was half full and we didn’t get the opportunity to ask a member of staff to order as they were dashing off between other tables before we could say something hence why we didn’t feel looked after.

Fresh, original and tasty food, served with real friendliness. Quantities were very high - we couldn't have amanaged a third course. The baked brie starter was superb.

Always a pleasure to eat & drink here , staff are really helpful and friendly food is amazing , we all had the Sunday carvery 5* Would highly recommend a visit
