This is a great venue for a traditional Sunday lunch. Quality and quantity was superb as was the warm welcome by Cath and her staff. I would thoroughly recommend The Royal Oak!

The Sunday Carvery was good, as it usually is. Four meats to choose from, plenty of veg and lovely Yorkshire puddings. Only given atmosphere 4 points as it gets very noisy.

Absolutely awesome. Fantastic service, it genuinely felt good to leave a good tip. The food was very tasty and the prices fair, but the exceptional service is what makes this restaurant my new personal favourite.

Booked a table for lunch yesterday at Maxi's dining with a long-term friend and my mum. Having dined there before the staff are always friendly, polite, and very helpful with my needs as a wheelchair-bound, physically disabled man. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals in very pleasant surroundings.

Fantastic! They were so accommodating to our needs and couldn’t do enough to make our visit enjoyable. The room was so beautifully decorated and the food was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and made my grandma’s 70th celebrations a total hoot! Thank you so much :)

It was a really cosy environment. The cats were really cute and they had several toys so we could play with them, we also got to give them treats which was really fun. We ordered the morrocon mint and the berry infused tea along with red velvet cake, everything was super nice. Definetely going to visit again!

Another fantastic meal at Maxi’s, the only place to go to for authentic Chinese dishes in Yorkshire. Great for both small and large parties and always best to book, no matter how many.

Lovely venue for an excellent Sunday Lunch. Very generous portions and excellent quality meat. Whole party enjoyed their meal. I would have preferred my gravy on the side but maybe that's just me. Happy to recommend and return.
