I booked a table for 4 people on a very sunny, busy day but the service was still excellent. The Manager was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was truly outstanding, the steak pies were full of good quality steak and the mash was divine. The Hunters chicken was the best my husband has ever had. The ploughman’s was huge and very tasty. All the staff were efficient, friendly and polite apart from one man who served behind the bar. Sadly I didn’t get his name, he was maybe having a bad day but he was actually rude to many customers. Overall highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Absolutely love this place , the menu is always gorgeous, the prices very reasonable. Myself and my son decided to try the Sunday dinner…. Amazing!!!

My wife and I celebrated our 34th anniversary with a fantastic meal. Can not fault the service and exceptional food we shall definitely be returning soon.

Booked as fancies the Sunday diner with pie as advertised on the website. This wasn’t on the menu when we got there. When ordering food there wasn’t any pies left or wings just pizza and chips. So went elsewhere to eat.

The food and service were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious, very generous proportions. The Sunday lunch was superb!

8 of us come here every August and this time it was better than ever. Lovely food with smiling servers, with everything somehow perfectly timed. Nothing about our visit can be faulted. A wonderful place.

Been several times since relocating to Guisborough and the food, service and staff are amazing. Been other places but this is the only place that ticks all the boxes. The staff are amazing especially the host. Will be coming back on a regular basis.

staff great food great price great, everything came out correct and was hot and really nice. Was there for my birthday and they put happy birthday on the table but didnt offer a free dessert or drink which is kind of standard at most places these days, but will go again anyway. Very loud though so if you are wanting a quiet meal, you aint getting it here! But if you like a loud atmosphere then its great :)

Great food and service . Only comment of fries being too salty We booked for Thursday and was a lot busier than expected, but this didn’t hinder the great service

Excellent food and service

First time eating at Tocketts Mill. Food was excellent and portions were definitely value for money. Staff were very attentive and constantly checking that everything was okay. Only issue I had was the length of time from when we sat down and ordered to when the food actually came. Maybe staff could mention that everything is cooked fresh to order, so there is a wait.

Had lunch on Thursday with a friend, not the first time we have been. I have to say, as usual, the service and food was excellent and great that you can have a small plate, especially at lunch time, is fantastic. claire who took our drinks order was very pleasant and attentive a real asset to the business as was the Egyptian man on front of house when we left and went to pay our bill. All said, a lovely experience in very comfortable surroundings. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to come and try out your restaurant.
