Took advantage of the York restaurant week and decided on here, highly recommend this place. Food was fresh, tasty and lots of choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

My team have been here a few times in the last 12 months. The food is always spot on, service fantastic and atmosphere is great too. We always put a pre-order sheet in as we're usually a big group, and there are never any problems and we get served really quickly. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Definitely will go again!

Family friendly pub with freshly cooked and hearty food

The afternoon tea I had with my friend who was over from Canada was delicious. The gentleman who served us was very attentive and made our experience even more joyful. The hotel itself is very beautiful with an amazing surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon there. Thank you

Absolutely stunning food - every course was top notch, from start to finish Tried to decide our favourite course, but it was nigh on impossible! Who would ever have thought that potatoes could taste so amazing? And the pairing of plums with chocolate is touching on genius! Enjoyed the whole experience - a bit pricey on a Saturday afternoon, although when you break it down we have spent almost as much at a local American burger restaurant with not nearly as much choice. Food was fantastic, hot and fresh with an amazing variety! Staff were friendly and attentive.. Will definitely return.

Me and the mrs came all the way from Birmingham as we was staying in Halifax and I came across denmans and I’m so glad I did the food was unreal such quality, beautiful little restaurant well worth the money

Booked for Sunday lunch and as usual it did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious.

Really great tasting menu, taste matched the incredible presentation and we also had a great wine recommendation. Lovely to have something like this in Teesside.

We really enjoyed this place. We arrived in a group who had various dietary requirements, we had two dogs, and a young baby and this place accommodated us all very well! The food was great and we'll definitely be coming back.

This was our first visit to Brooks, though one of our party had been before. The food was delicious and portion size just right so that sharing between 3 people meant we all had a fair share.We especially enjoyed the 2 Prawn dishes we had and the Tempura vegetables. Excellent sweets.I had the Sorbets which were lovely. We shall come again and bring other members of our family. We also loved the playlist!!
