Fast becoming a favourite - incredible value and pizzas are really good

We tend to eat here before concerts at Skipton Town Hall. Excellent food - and good-sized portions. Good service though when we go it isn't busy. Very welcome, and unusually for many modern restaurants it is actually possible to have a conversation. Background music is non-intrusive and the decor helps reduce ambient noise.

Another beautiful meal at Little Sicily, my wife’s family are Italian and the food here is authentic, well presented and served by friendly and efficient staff, looking forward to our next visit already. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and we could not have been looked after any better, even the customer at the next table added to the occasion, it is that sort of a restaurant, thank you.

We are a group of 17 people who had lunch here in January 2023. The food was very good, the service excellent, and it was a lovely setting and atmosphere. There were 2 issues: one is that the chairs seem a little worn and are very low, so that smaller guests needed to request cushions on their chairs. The other issue is regarding accessibility. The toilets can only be reached via a short set of stairs, which could be embarrassing/humiliating for someone with a disability, especially a wheelchair user. Other than that, we would definitely recommend it.

Always a very enjoyable and pleasant meal out for a Sunday lunch. Definitely the best in the area.

Couldn't ask for nicer food or better service. We had an amazing night as we always do. The food is the best food around here for miles. The servers always have a smile and are very polite. The owner always makes you feel so welcome. Will be back again soon.

We came for Sunday lunch, which was amazing. We had at the large sharing board for 4 and enjoyed every mouthful. Love the atmosphere, the service, however, was sloppy. lovely staff, but it's as if they haven't been trained and there's no one in charge. After the main course plates had been cleared, no one came near us, we had to ask for the dessert menu, no one asked if we wanted coffee, and again had to ask for the bill. This isn't the first time that the service has been tardy, last time we didn't have time for desert as we only had 2 hours parking! However, we will return as we love the atmosphere and the food has always been great. The staff are lovely too, just a bit clueless as to what makes great service.

We had a very pleasant meal here, particularly like the grill where they cook things fresh for you, being on a high protein diet and low-carb. This was the ideal choice and place to go. The food was delicious. Very tasty and full of flavour. We will return soon, the staff of a friendly even got a smile out of the chefs cooking, my chicken and prawns! Knowing that the language barrier makes things a little tricky. But he was very attentive. Front of house staff also very friendly and helpful.

Excellent Sunday carvery, hot and tasty, we were only a small party so had a table next to the cosy log burner. Pleasant helpful staff, would highly recommend.

We visited Maxis restaurant in York, taking advantage of their January Blue offer of 10% off the bill on a Thursday night. There were a few customers in the restaurant so there was a good atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meals, the food was delicious and, as always with Maxis, we left with doggy bags to enjoy the following day at home.

Our first visit and won't be our last. Great service., lovely atmosphere and fantastic food! All round perfect evening!

Great atmosphere and drink selection (including nonalcoholic beers), and fantastic food from the Sully’s Fusion Jamaican pop-up (will definitely be watching out for more from them and will recommend you do the same). Pretty reasonably priced too! One of my favourite pubs in Hull.
