The food was all fantastic, and the service was just as good. The best Sunday dinner in Middlesbrough

Really wanted to love this place as we'd heard so much about it. Booked for 3pm, arrived on time. Greeted by a lovely waitress who informed us that there was no cauliflower cheese and crackling left. We both ordered the beef. Veg, gravy, presentation, were superb. But the beef was stone cold. The manager/supervisor came to see us at the end and was a bit defensive over the lack of cauliflower cheese and crackling. Didn't like the projector screen pulled down with the rugby on. This is a lovely restaurant and doesn't need any gimmicks like that.

Always fantastic food, tasty and imaginative. Great atmosphere and service, properly dog friendly and really fair prices too.

Another great weekend at Craven Arms. Owners and staff look after you so well. Love the real ales and choice of gins in the bar before we go in to dinner, always a great atmosphere on a Friday night. We always book for dinner as it gets so busy and both Friday & Saturday dinner was superb, warm halloumi salad is worth going for just for that, and risotto with crispy leeks was delicious too great choice for vegetarians and the meat eating hubby is NEVER disappointed. We rarely have room for dessert after starter and main.

Can't knock this place good all round

Food is very nice, disappointed however, we came a week ago and we got a lovely burger, amazing chips and home made coleslaw. One week later the menu has changed and for the same price (£16) you now only get a burger which is ridiculous, feel a bit scammed when you realise what you could/should get and now I wouldn’t go back. Very big shame!

Our party of 16 thoughly enjoyed all our meals. Food all came out at the same time, hot and delicious. Service was excellent throughout and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Lovely food at a very reasonable price. We were a larger party of 13 and completed a pre order. It wasn't a problem when slight amendments were made to our order and the food was delivered to the table hot and in a timely way. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would defo recommend.

Table of 6 on a Saturday night. Service started off great, then went to a shambles. Waitress was quite rude when bringing out the wrong food to 3 of us. Chips were cold and one member of our party didn’t get their food until everyone had already finished. Not great and definitely won’t return given how many restaurants there are in the area.

We (two adults, two older teenagers) had a meal here on a Friday evening. The choice of food was excellent for us and we all really enjoyed the food we ordered. The drinks choice was also very good. The quality of service was excellent too. It was quieter than expected, perhaps because it seems to be the sort of place people go for lunch and after work and now fewer people go into the office on Fridays. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely rustic barn setting for delicious brunch and lunch with some imaginative vegetarian options. Great coffee too - the Guinness and chocolate cake was a revelation! Friendly staff with quick service and dog friendly. My new favourite place for brunch / lunch coffee and cake.

Amazing restaurant. It has a great ambience and is cosy and relaxing . The food is very authentic, you could almost imagine you were in Italy, certainly not in Bridlington. The staff are very friendly and the service excellent.

Amazing food catering for a wide range of tastes - great vegan options! Service was faultless and really friendly and it was a lovely touch when the owner came around to see whether everything was to our liking. We had a very special evening. Would highly recommend.

This place has become by far one of the best Indians in the city. Hull has loads of really good Idian cuisines in the area but Banarasi leads the way in the presentation of its food, the street food style menu not to mention how everything ive ordered over the last 12 months has been full of the flavours of india. Also the staff are always on form.

As usual fabulous food, freindly staff and great service, what more could you want.
