The food here was amazing. The staff are so polite and friendly. Despite being ran off her feet she was very attentive and apologised for any delay. (I think this was due to staff not turning in). The atmosphere is lovely and perfect for a chilled evening. The Irish coffee was also to die for. Been a few times and it’s always a pleasure. Would highly recommend going here.

They serve very high quality, tasty and imaginative food at very sensible prices. Fixed price menu especially good value but we were easily tempted off it on the main menu and were not disappointed!!

Roots Rum Shack and Kitchen – HullExcellent food and great service. Our family came here for an evening meal to celebrate a graduation and the food was excellent. We all left happy. Tasty authentic Chinese food, would recommend to anyone. My personal favourite was the salted egg crispy king prawns!
Maxis – YorkFood was above average but overall overpriced for the quality and quantity. Oysters were nice and Ribeye steaks were very good and although the lobster was nice, more theatre than anything. My partner was hungry despite starter, sharing board and sides and he ate again when we got home! The venue decor is stunning and a nice vibe/ambience but it was cold inside and freezing in the toilets! The table was sticky, menu was tattered, filthy and sticky.
