Brontae’s – HorsforthExcellent food, fabulous service and reasonable prices!
Luna Blu Cocktails and Tapas – YarmSecond visit for us last night, arrived a little early as instructed to find the door locked so not a good start. My husbands starter was a little strange with a fish cake in a liquid that tasted like ice cream, then we both had the lamb rump, the rump was a disappointment, mine was slightly undercooked and had a vein of fat/sinew running through it so I was limited as to what I wanted to eat, my husbands was a little more cooked and ok, the accompaniments were lovely but I wouldn’t pay £30 for my dish again as the lamb was too disappointing. I had the carrot cake sweet which was delicious but overall we won’t be going back as it’s a bit big a trek for us to not enjoy the food
Brontae’s – HorsforthVisited for my Dads Birthday lunch. General atmosphere is pleasant and staff polite and helpful but the food just took too long to come out. For this reason it would put me off returning. After arriving at 1230 it was almost 155pm before our main courses arrived. I don't think we were alone looking at the disgruntled faces on some of our fellow dinners. Food is standard pub food fare which was fine but please sort out the service.
Oscars Wine Bar and Bistro – YorkFelt like we was sat in some quaint Greek village. Food was authentic, service excellent and atmosphere relaxed. Will definatley be back. Thanks for having us
The Aegean Taverna – HullFantastic food the mixed meat platter was delicious.. loverly friendly staff definitely be back
The Aegean Taverna – HullLovely warm welcome, attentive staff, nice atmosphere and delicious food. Couldn’t ask for more.
The Aegean Taverna – HullFood was excellent, service good and attentive. Starter wise the fish cake and sauce was beautiful and the Brie pana cotta incredible, will be coming back again just to eat this alone! As non meat eaters having only 1 out of 5 mains we could eat was a bit disappointing, a vegetarian option would be great too. As lovely as it was, might have been nice to have something other than the fish cake with the main course having already had it as the starter. Puddings were lovely, dark chocolate tart fantastic, and tasty as it was the lemon sponge portion was very small. Overall very impressed with the food and will definitely be back.
Brontae’s – HorsforthI visited Here today. My son treated me for mothers day. I was really impressed by the delicious food. The staff were so friendly. The atmosphere was lovely the beautiful scenes of Greece on the wall. Greek music playing. It just brought a taste of Greece back to us ❤ The place we love and have missed now for a few years. If you love greece and the lovely food . I'd highly recommend this place .It's too good to miss. ❤

Vine – MiddlesbroughI don't go to Middlesbrough very often for entertainment, but this Friday I needed dinner before going to the theatre, and I needed it to be at least decent, not having 'dined out' for quite some time. What a find! I chose Vine online because it was a ten-minute walk from Middlesbrough Theatre. I couldn't have chosen better. The shabby-chic decor is my kind of thing - I'm shabby rather than chic. The menu is reassuringly limited, unlikely to be too much freezer and microwave intervention, I always think. I went down the fish route. Oysters, a quarter dozen - which means three, and I could have eaten twice as many; then scallops, really well cooked, seared but soft; then the curried Monkfish. This fish is such a strong flavoured one that it can take on the introduction of curry, and it's done with subtleness here. I really enjoyed each of these dishes. No pudding, I had a relaxing stroll to the theatre instead. Early-evening atmosphere was great, lots of families enjoying good food, but I had to leave before the live entertainment got underway. Pity. Really nice people served me some very good food. Thank you. Having been entertained as I was in Middlesbrough, finding a reason to revisit has become simpler: Vine.
Vine – MiddlesbroughGood authentic dishes and atmosphere, good service from friendly helpful staff.
The Aegean Taverna – HullEnjoyed our time (as usual) at Luna Blu. Just coffee and cakes this time (keep the strawberry cheesecakes coming), but lovely atmosphere, with cheerful and attentive staff. Love the coffee and cake price and the loyalty card.
