Very nice meal (Beef roast dinner), reasonably priced with timely and attentive service from the friendly staff. Same for the drinks, had a bottle of good quality wine with the meal and a couple of pints afterwards. A smart modern interior belies any first impression you may get when driving past !

We have eaten several times at the magpie cafe and every time we have thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The waitress at the latest meal was very attentive and very funny. It was only her fifth day on the job, l hope she stays as she was a delight. Well done to the magpie cafe, keep up the good work.

Had the best fish and chips ever at the Magpie Cafe. We were so glad that we pre booked when we saw the queue outside. We ordered the two-person sharing platter and it didn’t disappoint! There was more than enough food and we left feeling extremely full. We would highly recommend eating here.

We always have a great meal at the Crown this was no different. A lovely hot fresh cooked Sunday Lunch . The only thing I would change would be the vegetables I am not a great lover of courgettes or mange tout but there was loads on our dish yesterday the rest was superb as usual. The turkey moist lovely roast potatoes and mash the stuffing gorgeous. The Brownie dessert well no words to describe how gorgeous this is. Well done to everyone who made our visit relaxed and friendly we will be back .

Oh my goodness! Why has it taken me so long to try Sambuca restaurant!? I went for my birthday last night and it was just wonderful! It looks gorgeous from outside smells wonderful inside with lovely decor snd fantastic atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was perfect, totally delicious and the little shot of Sambuca at the end was the perfect finish! We will be back, again and again! We’ve already arranged with our friends when to go as a group!

First visit however, it will not be the last. As advised, we booked a couple of weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Staff were so friendly and food surpassed our expectations. We all had cod and chips and easily the best we've ever had. Thank you for a lovely meal and dining experience!
