Been on two occasions now both time choosing the fish Pie while others in our party choose various meals, all meals were lovely and no complaints at all will definitely visit again.

Service was great, the waitress was very friendly and chatty. Food was lovely and the portions were very large which were a bit off putting

Simple really, absolutely fantastic, great food, friendly staff, first time we have been since moving they moved to Newland Ave and still amazing.

We had a wonderful meal at the Magpie. Starters were all lovely, particularly the whitebait. The fish and chips and mussels were also delicious and the traditional puddings were just a joy. Lovely service and great value for money.

As ever this remains my favourite all time seafood restaurant. Do not be fooled by the word cafe - it is everything but. The staff are wonderful as always. I went a little left field and tried the seafood paella - wow!!! Truly magnificent. See you again next time.

Had a lovely meal at The Magpie Whitby, the restaurant covered all the Government guidelines and kept customers safe

We had a wonderful family get together at The Magpie. Every aspect of the experience was excellent, the online booking site, the service, the food - all good, nothing disappointed, and the cost was reasonable. They accommodated our baby's pram also. We would definitely go back.

Delicious food, fabulous staff ridiculously good value for your money. We will be back!!!

An excellent birthday meal. The food was delicious it's always 10/10 on our visits. The waitresses are friendly, personable and efficient. I would highly recommend a visit.

Loved our evening meal at the Aegean Taverna, had us feeling like we were almost on holiday after our holiday to Cyprus was cancelled last year! The food was great and the service excellent, would definitely visit again.

I will be going back here 100%. Firstly the staff were amazing and looked after us very well, and the place itself was cosy but didn't feel cramped at all. So many different types of group coming and going too, from couples, to groups of friends for q drink to us who spent 2 hours there eating and enjoying the wines. Fantastic place

We love The Magpie, whenever we go to stay in Whitby we always book well in advance to make sure of a table, and it never disappoints, always excellent, friendly and busy and buzzy - only one thing wrong always have to have fish and chips because its so good - so many other things on the menu to try - we all say we will have to stay for longer just to try more - one day?! Oh and fabulous views from most windows.

We really enjoyed our haddock , chips and mushy peas , the best we've had. Couldn't fault the food or the service even though it was busy everything was spot on . Will definitely come back again when come to Whitby again.

Our first visit - read Trip Advisor reviews and were delighted . Service excellent , large varied menu - ample choice of everything we love. We thoroughly enjoyed the mixed platter which was enormous! Great value . The quality of the lamb and chicken was fabulous. Highly recommend and will revisit when we next visit .
