Visited many times the fish are fantastic, they really are.

I ate at Dhesi grill the other night and although the food was really good, well cooked, polite staff , fresh everything, really happy with food, they said that tap water was unavailable! They wanted us to buy it at £1 a bottle - what?!! its not the cost, its the plastic taking over the world and all the processing that that takes... shameful, Dhesi Grill . Change the policy and I will return, until then, fraid not.

We had such a lovely night wine tasting at Behind the Town Hall. The service was excellent and we felt very welcome. The wine tasting was a fun experience and the food was delicious, a yummy cheese and meat platter to share. Very friendly staff and I would definitely go again and reccommend it to friends.. If you like wine, food and somewhere a bit different you should definitely check it out.

Menu was the same as last time...nothing interesting - no sign of any chicken on the menu cooked in a spicy sauce or something exciting which was what we both fancied - I ended up opting for the pizza but found the toppings to be too small - first time I've had a pizza without a tomato base - maybe i picked a wierd one though...the bill wasn't cheap but the food was average. - it will be Viva Cuba Kirstall next time which we find is good valaue for money with lots of choice.

We visited Bridlington last week and came across this wonderful bistro in the old town. Had a very enjoyable evening. Friendly and efficient staff. Good choice of wines. Food first class. Would recommend any one visiting Bridlington to find this gem of a restaurant.

Just dropped in to this restaurant at random whilst staying overnight in York. My wife was unsure due the the area it was in but it was cold and windy so we went in. What a great result. The food is as good as it getts and the sevcie from the owners and staff is all you might expect when eating out. Well done all and I am pleased to give you this review.

We found this place 'by accident' last Sunday. WHAT A FIND! We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped inside. The attention from the staff was exemplary - just right, not too much to be annoying. The food was amazing and the maitre'd was outstanding. We were offered variations on the menu when we found it hard to decide - for example the starters for 5 people was presented as a compilation of many things, similarly with the sweets. The food quality was outstanding. To top it all, at the end of the meal we were offered complimentary drinks AND a small 'choc-ice-type' ice cream. MARVELLOUS!

Myself, my wife and our little boy (4 years old) have, this evening, had a fantastic experience at the Boars Head (1st time visit). We had completed the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, and were very tired as my wife had sustained a leg injury, and this was also the longest trail that our little boy had undertaken. On our way back towards the Ribble Valley, we decided to try the Boars Head. I nipped in to have a quick look at the menu, and was pleasantly surprised that the Sunday roast menu was available, even though it was a Bank Holiday, (particularly as my little boy loves his Yorkshire puds). We enjoyed a truly delicious meal. We often try different carveries and this was great. The pork crackling was fantastic and the vegetables were cooked really well, not over cooked as they often are at other pubs. The desserts were delicious, in particular the apple crumble - large pieces of apple, generous amounts of 'crumble' with just a hint of cinnamon - fab! The experience was topped off by the level of service. The young lady who served us both at the bar, and who served our meals (we never caught her name) was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble; really friendly. Will definitely be returning, probably often. Would most highly recommend this pub/restaurant to others!!!

I used to love this pub, whenever we had visitors I would take them for a meal there and recommended it to everyone. Now the pubs changed ownership and I would never go again. The new owners are dishonest and don't stick to what they say. My husband chose a deal from the board (steak and a pint/wine for £X)he had a glass of coke thinking it was included which they didn't correct us on. Then when it came to paying they charged us for the drink on top and when we pointed it out they said coke didn't count and didn't give us the drink alongside the meal. We both found it rude and dishonest of them to dodge the deal. Disgusting service. Also there was a long wait despite us being the only one's eating and it took them a long time to take our order. One last thing, I didn't find it very clean in there as there were cobwebs on the ceilings.

Came here for our wedding anniversary and was extremely impressed by the excellent food and spectacular service. The waitress brought over a board of meat cuts to show us what they all were (useful when I had never seen a spiral cut before) and recommended different cuts for different cooking times. We tried the cured salmon, empanadas, spiral cut sirloin and two desserts and all were delicious, as were the cocktails - including the two free ones we were given in honour of our anniversary. They also offered to call us a cab and had our coats ready as we left. Will definitely return!

You may be "child friendly" but, sadly, are not at all customer friendly - could you be pleasant to visitors, smile, be gracious - it is Ripley, near Harrogate, after all!!!

The only place I have eaten at in England where they serve truly authentic Chinese food for a considerably cheap price for large portions. A definite go. Im not eating today so I can go tomorrow.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and can honestly say its brilliant. The food is gorgeous, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are fabulous, you are never rushed and they cant do enough for you. Forget the overpriced chain Italians and visit Zucchini's.
