My wife and I, fatigued and hungry, were delighted to find a table at Theo's. We told the owner's wife we'd be ok waiting if we could just have some garlic bread first. We got this, but nothing else we had ordered, despite a wait of over 75 minutes, several enquiries, and despairing looks at the meals of people arriving long after us. As we gave up and were leaving, the owner obviously twigged that our order had not been placed, and said the bread was on the house. Not so madame, who demanded her £3.50, and harangued us loudly as being better suited to McD's. The food may be great if you can get it - we'll never know, but a place that treats customers like this needs a wide berth.
