Akbars – Leeds City CentreI have been going here for over 20 years. They offer great curries and also I have to say the best Keema nans on the planet, they have no equal anywhere I have been. Pakoras are superb, not soggy like some places. Many Asians go here for their meals and that must be a recommendation too. Superb all round food.
Tastys Karahi Restaurant – RoundhayVisited this establishment on May 23rd 2009 (lunch time) with my Wife and two year old daughter, We didn't know anyone who has been before but read about it on the Internet and myself being a vegetarian for almost 40 years thought it looked interesting. Found it straight away despite the fact that we live the other side of Huddersfield and don't know Bradford too well. Interior was nice and seating very comfy, plenty of room at the tables. Lovely menu so much to choose from, having limited time (our daughter has a short attention span) we opted for a pickle tray and poppadoms while we waited for our main courses which were Tarka dal and a panner dish, the food was superb, i am very critical about food as my Wife is a great cook and i often find that her cooking is better than many restaurants we visit - this was not the case at Prashad and my Wife said it was far better than anything she could do. Would we go again - yes, would we recommend it to family and friends - yes Food was ten out of ten for us and friendliness of staff including the chef was ten out of ten, everyone seemed so genuine and concerned that we were happy with food and service, and they made an extra special effort with my two year old daughter. Do we have anything to complain about ? - yes - why don't they have one in Huddersfield !
Prashad – BradfordWe were being asked what drinks we wanted before we even had a chance to sit down and look at the drinks list. It was probably the worst biryani I've ever tasted, and its was only a taste because it was sent back!
Scarborough Tandoori – ScarboroughWe had been to Bolton, Lancashire in the afternoon. On our return the car seemed to find its way to Prashad almost instinctively! So naturally, we had dinner here of Bataka Wada, Pani Puri, Utthapam, Rengan and Peas , and Kichdi. Kaushy's brilliant cooking was like a royal welcome banquet laid out specially for us.
Prashad – BradfordThe guyn who runs this place is ride and offensive. Just ask for tap water and he storms out of the kitchen to give you some abuse. Come on - serve tap water, everyone else does!

Gimbals – Sowerby BridgeThis was a fantastic experience!!! I dined with my hubby and bub, and I had a steak pie to die for with the most scrumptious shortcrust pastry on top. At last, I have found a great pub with a chef who knows his stuff!!! The wait staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating ! I am also a chef by profession and I my standard of food I choose to eat is very high!! Well done to the team at the Three Houses Inn.
The Three Houses Inn – WakefieldA fantastic choice of traditional and mainstream Indian dishes. Warm, comfortable environment with an outstanding decor to match. Superb staff provide an excellent knowledge of food and the vegetarian selection is second to none. Well worth a visit, ten out of ten.
Laxmi Restaurant – HuddersfieldA satisfactory evening. Food cold-ish but cheap. Curry took a long time to come but we did get extra poppadams when we complained. Did gve us chips too albeit a bit reluctantly!

Ali Raj Tandoori – Harrogatewent on a Friday, early evening . first time visitor and first time at a vegetarian restaurant. enjoyed the food and the surroundings. didn't know what to have so the waiter gave us some advice and was very friendly and helpful.would recommend this to anyone who enjoys Indian food. will revisit this summer and try some other dishes that we haven't had before. shame this isn't south Yorkshire.
Prashad – BradfordThe last time I visited this was in 2007 so a return visit was due. This time on a Monday evening and the pub was almost empty apart form a darts match taking place. Two TVs were on showing the football and music was playing too. I must say that the décor has improved since my last visit but alas still no real ale.
