Ate at Bella on Saturday. Busy, lively, great atmosphere, in fact can't be beaten in the area. Also, they take notice of customer suggestions...there's Black currant & Apple crumble on the menu, and it tasted great.

i have been eating at maureens rain or shine for the past 5 years as my belly can testify,Maureens is more than just food, its all about how a family run restaurant could and should be..its all down to hard work, long hours, fresh ingredients, years of expertise, AND a DEDICATION for always doing their very best..to keep us happy!! We visited the woodside 2 weeks ago and went for Sunday lunch. The carvery looked amazing and all really fresh. The staff were very friendly even though they were extremely busy. We had a great carvery Sunday dinner and dessert. We will definitely be back

My husband and I have been eating at the curry house keighley since we met in 1994 and even went there for a curry after our wedding as all our guests ate all our al carte meal and there was nothing left the food is as good now as it was then if not even better, it has grown as our relationship has and we took our daughter there when she was a year old and she used to feed the gold fish the staff are like family and make us feel special even when we don't visit for long periods of time its just one of those places you love and never forget well done to you all at the curry house for your long standing hospitality and fab food.

The friendliest and most amazing Indian restaurant. Food is out of this world - consistently brilliant every trip. Fantastic service, and really inexpensive. Home made lime pickles, crisp naan breads and succulent meats - absolutely the best (and have been in many Indian restaurants!!)

the worst indian/pakistani food we have had inducing vomiting.. frozen vegetables turned to mush. dry overcooked chicken obviously packaged sauces as used throughout the chain. a definate group to avoid now living on past glory not good enough to recommends to any genuine curry lover

We regularly eat at this restaurant as it is the best in Leeds and we have lived here for 23 years and are big fans of Indian food The quality of food is always fantastic, the service is impeccable and the Manager remembers us and is very welcoming. Every time we have visitors from Scotland - we take them for a special treat and it has always been a major success Go there once and you'll become a regular!

Visited on a Friday afternoon in February, nephew had problems pushing my wheelchair up the ice covered ramp, but once inside the service was good and friendly, the food was traditional english, cooked the way we liked that mom used to, tasted like good value great home cooked food. would not hesitate in coming back, although the service could have been quicker.

We tried this restaurant eight times in eight weeks for both eating in and takeaways. The food is consistently excellent with a wide range of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, meals not on other restaurant menus and the ingredients all good quality (no frozen veg). The service is polite and prompt and the decor is subtle and comfortable. The only down side is it's popularity which leads to big queues around 7.00 pm onwards and a distinct lack of parking. I would suggest getting in early and/or walk/taxi/bus (bus stop directly outside).

first time brilliant will be back enjoyed fresh crab with spiced tomato jelly and mayo ,big bowl of mussels ,homemade bread and flavoured butter lovely..... cod with big scallops ,peas and mint and duo of lamb ....no desserts as we were stuffed but coffee and nice homemade chocolates great service not badly priced wines...........

really good food, mostly Asian families were in at the time, which is reassuring. i didn't suffer from bad wind the next day which is a sign of a proper curry. The restaurant might not be as fancy as the mumtaz but the food is just as good if not better...just go there and see for yourself.

Just been to Zouk on Leeds Road in Bradford and have to say it's an amazing place - the food is just delicious and prepared with such care and creativity - especially the fresh desserts and bread - out of this world. Veggies and vegans are very well catered for - we had no problems as there were plenty of meat free choices. There's a great atmosphere, lovely music and the staff are fun, friendly and very helpful - even when they're busy. We'll certainly be returning and would recommend Zouk to anyone. Try the dahl, bindi bhaji, hummous, sebzi - we guarantee you'll be coming back for more.

Dined here for my husbands 60th birthday. asked for a good table and was seated about a foot away from another couple even though no-one else in. Couldn't have a private conversation. The meal was very, very disappointing. Very bland. Mine was duck with lots of fat and hardly any duck and was sat in a jus which tasted strangely of fish. That was the only taste in the whole dish. Chef seemed to have forgot to season anything. Pianist didn't start til 7.45 just as we finished our meal. Not recommended. 4/4/09.

Possibly the best eatery in Harrogate. I've tried all the other "well recommended" and "snobberised" restaurants in the town and nowhere comes close to friendly, personal, high quality and relaxed dining with a superb emphasis on quality than the Tannin level. The range of dishes are superb, they have wines to match every course, plus a a fantastic selection of curio wines, and a real focus on making your dining experience exactly that. If I was to chose anywhere within North Yorkshire to eat, I'd be here every evening... 5 stars, and a pat on the back to the owners, chefs and staff that make this restaurant the place to be...

Stunning food with fantastic service. The venue is chic and great attention has been paid to every detail. Van Zellers was recommended to us and we travelled to Harrogate to find it - well worth the trip!!!
