Had a lovely meal with friends. Excellent food choice and very reasonably priced. Restaurant really nice and staff very attentive so no complaints.

Went here with my friends for the second time and it was as lovely as ever… so professional and respectful of the cats and such a great place to go for a pick me up as me and my friends sometimes struggle with our mental health and can’t have pets due to us all being students… we had a great time with a lovely cozy atmosphere and the staff are as friendly as ever. Even without the cats it’s such a lovely cafe and a great place to hang out with friends!

An excellent evening and meal. The welcome was friendly, the atmosphere was totally appropriate and the food was made from good quality ingredients and nicely cooked and presented.

What a delight this place is - really cosy and relaxing and all the fur babies are extremely happy and well-cared for. The staff are brilliant - Charlotte is so enthusiastic and clearly really loves all the cats. We had carrot cake and caramel slice which were yummy, and the coffees are great too, the paw print on top is a cute touch. We really enjoyed meeting and playing with the cats and felt so happy and relaxed after - will definitely be back, and 100% recommend to any cat lovers over 12!

First visit with my son, absolute joy, so relaxed. My son loved the atmosphere of having the cats there, some playful, some cheeky, all lovely. No phones, only to take some pics. Will definitely visit again, we loved it.

Absolutely perfect, from the moment we walked in to the bar, party of four, to leaving two hours later. All staff polite, friendly and attentive. Menu wide ranging for all tastes without being too extensive, Starters, mains and desserts served in a timely fashion, well presented and all enjoyable. The Bay Horse at Ravensworth can’t be faulted, …..absolutely perfect

Good food excellent service.

Had a really nice meal here on Saturday, food was excellent and the service was absolutely brilliant. The staff there were also happy to chat and have a bit of banter as well which is always nice. 10/10 highly recommend

Fantastic meal last night. Dragon Chicken starter was excellent. Staff were very attentive and they made the experience amazing.

Very cozy setting. The kitties are clearly well-cared for and you need to disinfect your hands + read the house rules to ensure their wellbeing. They're very comfy around people and most will gently take snacks from your hand. Coffee and hot chocolate are delicious and the little cat paw on top is a lovely touch. Cannot recommend enough, will definitely be back!

When I first arrived at the reception to check in for our table I was totally ignored by the young girl at the desk. When she eventually got round to acknowledging me she just said how many for not even asking my name then the man who I believe is the manager came up and took us to a table. Not a very pleasant experience to start our special occasion.

Exceeded our expectations, a really fabulous meal. Great vibe and ambiance, prompt and very professional service. We are looking forward to going back!

Best sunday lunch in Halifax. We are regulars here and eat at least once a month. Recommend the sharing platter for two. Food is always 10/10 & is excellent value for the taste

Had an excellant meal was a birthday celebration for 3 members of our party all enjoyed it. I have been before but not for Sunday lunch will definately be going again.

We enjoyed our dinner here. Went there 20 of us which is a challenge to server but we had genuinely good time here. Good food, excellent price, great service, everyone was satisfied. I can recommend this place to anyone. There was just one thing that didn't go super well with the service we had two guests with similar name Paul L. and Paul L. waitresses struggled to understand the situation and it was a bit awkward but nothing too terrible really.
