The Kings Arms – RichmondWhat a great pub/restaurant is the Kings Arms at Askrigg. Lovely open fire friendly bar staff/ restaurant service. I had slow cooked belly pork which melted in the mouth, the mashed potatoes was creamy and the vegetables were just right and plentiful. My husband had the game casserole with a good selection of meats in a rich gravy, he said it was delicious. We’ll be back.
The Kings Arms – RichmondThis was my third time eating at Panuozzos and it didn’t disappoint. Each time the food has been exceptional, I have loved every dish. On this occasion it was last Sunday and I came with family. We all ordered pizza but after seeing the exquisitely presented Sunday dinner choices being served at other tables around us I simply can’t wait to come back and enjoy one for myself. My partner is vegetarian and had enquired about the Sunday Roast menu, and although they said they could just serve her one with the meat option removed it would be great if they could think about adding a specific vegetarian option to their menu and provide a veggie gravy to go with it (although she said if we do go back the trimmings looked delicious enough and she would just go there with an emergency stash of onion gravy granules, just incase they don’t have veggie gravy on the premises (the menu advertises it as ‘proper gravy’)
Panuozzos – MiddlesbroughAbsolutely spot on, staff are great, Sunday dinner is really, really nice. There's plenty of choice of vegetables, the mushy peas are unreal. The only issue i had was booking a table, I had to book over a week in advance for Sunday dinner, which tells me everything. Try it, won't be disappointed.

Raph’s Lounge – HullFantastic venue in comfortable surroundings . We all had a tasty sunday carvery , which was a full plate with generous meat portion . Manager spent time with us talking freely and young waiters and waitreses were efficient and polite . Have been there three times and will continue to do so ! Only black mark was when we moved to bar area after meal . We were served by two young waiters who were very helpful advising on drinks available . They brought our drinks to our table . Waiter who arrived on duty later on requested that bar was shut at 10 pm . It was 9.54 pm so requested that were entitled to buy a final round of drinks for our party of four , especially after we had spent over £170 for food and drinks ! Reluctantly , he agreed to my request for another round , with a look of dissapointment . I think he wanted an early finish ! We apoligised if he felt we delayed his early finish jokingly , but it was met with silence ! But overall , a great experience !

Went to pay bill first one was not ours , paid 2 nd bill but found out they had not knocked puddings off , heated discussion between landlady with her bar staff , he was thumping the wall as she called him a name he did not like ,eventually paid bill but not right but could not b bothered with Agro , sorry but will not go there again and from who I have spoken to a few people have had the same response . Shame nice country pub
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateWent on Thursday night with friends and then returned for Sunday brunch with family because it was so good! Can already see it will become a firm favourite. Flavours are authentic, delicious and surprisingly filling! We all loved it!
Food For Cowboys – HullSuch a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door, can’t recommend The Bay Horse highly enough, had a 3 course early evening meal, the food was exceptional, special mention for the haggis fritters, but all the courses were absolutely delicious, staff were so friendly and local stout was a huge hit. If you are visiting Richmond it is well worth the short journey, you will not be disappointed. Compliments to all especially the chef. Thank you.
