I had a fantastic Sunday Lunch on 26th September and the service was excellent only one gripe, my husband and I are pensioners so only eat standard carvery which is understandable and we were charged for XXL , didn't realise until we got home so wasn't too pleased so beware check your bill .

Had a roast dinner, the beef was perfectly cooked and the whole meal was so delicious! Good service and nice atmosphere, we will definitely come again when we are next in the area.

We went for a late sunday afternoon meal and were not disappointed . Food was fantastic, so flavourful, cooked beautifully and service excellant. There was a sunday offer on which we didnt know about at the time of booking , which made it incredible value . Nothing bad to say about the whole experience

We went for a Sunday carvery and the both the food and service were amazing. Great portions, well cooked and the desserts were delicious

We came for brunch and the food was amazing! I had the veggie huevos rancheros and cannot stop thinking about how good it was. Great coffee too. We had the kids with us and they enjoyed the options on the kids menu. We have booked again for an evening with friends and I am very much looking forward to trying the cocktails. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. The food was a little slow coming out one bit at a time, but that is easily forgiven when it tastes so good.

Excellent food, piping hot, tasty and good portion size too. Lovely atmosphere in the pub / restaurant with a warm fire going. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.

We visited around 12pm and tried the new Sunday roast — it was absolutely delicious! We’re new to this restaurant and we will definitely be coming back. The restaurant was quiet at the time, but that seems to be the case for many places in the UK at the moment. With the quality of food we had today, we’re sure this place will continue to build a loyal local following. We’ll be recommending this little gem we’ve found in Cottenham to our friends and family.

Visited Banarasi based on excellent online reviews. Not disappointed. Absolutely first class food, beautifully cooked and flavoured. Best Indian food we have had in this area and as good as much more expensive restaurants in London we have tried. Look forward to our next visit.

Great very traditional Mexican which is usually hard to find. Good value as well

We visited on Wednesday afternoon and took advantage of the pizza deal, ordering two pizzas. Wow – they were delicious! The pizzas were very tasty and well worth the price. We came from near Goole for a funeral and decided to stop by for lunch, and we couldn’t fault the food at all. The only thing I would mention is that there could be a bit more staff to support the young girl working on her own – she did a great job, but a little extra help would make things run even smoother. We will definitely be visiting again, next time with family and friends!

Took my team out for dinner, 25+ in total. Food was great and really prompt. Service staff looked after us really well! We will definitely be back again. The Club Burger is one of my favourite dishes in Leeds.

Very tasty dishes. Couldn’t eat everything so if you have a large appetite you’ll be happy with the all you can eat menu. Will return as enjoyed the small plates very much.

What can I say? We’re from Cottingham and we come to Raph’s every week to eat. The food is always excellent, and the chef always greets us, coming over to our table to ask if everything is okay and how our week has been. You don’t often see a chef come out to talk to customers, and that’s something really special. He’s a real blessing for Raph’s and speaks to almost every customer – which is so nice to see. See you again soon!

Staff were pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is looking old and a shadow of its former self as I remember it. The food was cold and flavourless not value for money. The starter was very small for 2 people and not value for money.

Fantastic restaurant, food was excellent and very good value for money. Staff were all very friendly and helpful ensuring customers were well looked after.

Shocking website, out of date information . Rude and shocking service. Asked for water for the table for four and got one glass of water . Food was no better than a ready meal with no flavour at all.. Ten minute wait extra for the chips after the other meal came out. At 930 made to feel very unwelcome and more or less got told we need to leave. Wont return. Prices are daft money for the slop that was served.
