the restaurant is very clean and has lovely decor ,the staff cant do enough for you and are very prompt.menu has lots to choice from i am always spoilt for choice,we go to here in the afternoon and have the lunch menu this is great value for money. The chicken an sweetcorn soup is the best i have ever tasted,it comes in a big bowl and then served into smaller bowls by the waiter, always plenty left for second helping, the food whatever you choice will be as good ,i personally have never had better any were else and i have tried most meals on the menu ,so i can safely say i have had good choice.

After being persuaded by my boyfriend I finally visted barburrito today. I have to say I was totally impressed. The food was absolutely delicious we both had a chicken burrito which consisted of tortilla filled with lemon and coriander rice, spicy beans, char grilled chicken an salsa. I left feeling very satisfied and full and thought it was a great value for money. I now think that I will be ditching the other fast food chains on my shopping trips and going to barburrito instead. Its much healthier and very tasty!!!

Don't bother visiting Circo if you want decent service. We only went in for drinks but this was too much trouble for the lazy bar staff. Went to another bar in Albert Dock and enjoyed great service!

Our visit was not a success. When we enquired if they had a table for dinner we were informed that we could be fitted in but were shown to a table in what I assume was the dining area which was very noisy and crowded. This area took up approx one third of the area in the pub/restaurant - the other two thirds were entirely empty. When we asked if we could eat other than in this crowded area we were told that we could not. I can't comment on the food as we declined to eat there but walked around the corner to Christakis Greek restaurant where the decor was somewhat scruffy but we were given a warm welcome, a choice of table and a very pleasant meal. Our visit took place on Monday 22 February at approx 7.30pm I understand that you do not publish adverse comments but perhaps you could pass on our remarks to the restaurant concerned.

we have been going to tokyou for over a year now and we as a family adore the food and the customer service is excellent we go once every week. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. You have to go and try there food to make your own mind up but i guarantee you will be going back as a regular customer.

Six of us ate at Alma de Cuba last Saturday night and had a fantastic time. I had been before but the other two couples we were with hadn't and as our table wasn't ready we were able to go into the bar for a drink first. This certainly has the WOW factor, architecturally it's awesome. When our table was ready we were led to our table upstairs - again WOW. The menu had a great choice, the food was fantastic albeit slightly hot (the ribs) and the service was A1. The only disappointment was the dancers which could have been better dressed (the male) and more varied. However we all had a brilliant night out, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal out in Liverpool.

Etsu is an amazing restaurant with great service and excellent dishes prepared lovingly by the chef. It's not a big place, so a reservation is definitely necessary for weekend dining. Nice selection of vegetarian options and the Sake is delicious.

Booked Mayur after reading the reviews on Sugarvine. Unfortunately the restaurant did not live up to expectations whatsoever. We went on a busy Saturday night after booking it some weeks ago for my sons 21st birthday. Food and service were average. What was most disappointing was the attitude of the staff who just wanted to free up the table so they could get the next customer in. I pointed out to the Manager that we had booked Mayur for a special celebration and that we were not told at any point that we would be under time pressure to vacate our table, if we had been told we simply wouldn't have gone there in the first place. He just would not let up and was so unprofessional it beggars belief. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING! Do yourself a favour and try the Sultans Palace.

Been twice first time May 2009 and second visit 12/02/10. Sadly it was disappointing. Service was excellent and can't be faulted. Sadly my main which was the cod was extremely salty to which I did have to send back. This was knocked of the bill and was able to have the meal again or desert for free. Which I did take up the offer of the desert. The menu is slightly strange but I'm not a professional. The decor is also strange, set in an old church with palm trees to set the cuban feel to the place, however, the lights were deers or somesort of kill, and this was also on the wall, again perhaps it's just me but it didn't match the cuban feel more Gothic?? Also only one toilet for males and females so quite a wait on occasions!!! The dancers although good did get people up dancing, but this just seemed a little cheesy for me. Sadly won't be going ever again.

I would recommend Tia Pan for all your Chinese dining! We went to the restaurant last night and it was the first time we had gone there and I could not fault it, the food was fantastic and the staff could not do enough for us. We ordered the Peking Duck which had to be specially ordered and it was no problem for them. When we got there we did not even have to wait for a table, the restaurant was lovely and the price of the meal was very cheap considering what we had. Thank you for a great experience and we will be coming again and again.

Visited here twice recently, once just before xmas and on 5th Feb 2010. Although both times the food when it arrived was quite good we found the staff a bit distant and distracted. Both times there was a long wait between starters and our mains arriving and we had to ask each time when our mains were going to be served. All in all not bad but in our experience be prepared for a long wait between courses.

I visited this restaurant with 2 friends after getting addicted to Greek food in Liverpool area thanks to sugarvine in helping me to locate them. We arrived at the restaurant at around 6pm on a Tuesday evening to find the restaurant NOT really located as described "in the heart of the city, close to the Liverpool One shopping centre" 1.5 miles away to be precise. It is located on a very quiet dockside road amongst the warehouses and factory units. We found the restaurant to be very quiet in fact we were the only ones in during our 2 hour visit. We opted as we always have done at other Greek restaurants for the Mezze Banquet ( GREEK SALAD, BEETROOT SALAD, TARAMOSALATA, HOUMOUS, TAHINI, TZATZIKI, DOLMADAKIA, KEFTEDAKIA, HALOUMI LOUNTZA, KING PRAWNS, CALAMARI, SALMON COOKED IN A FAB SAUCE & MAINCOURSE LAMB CUTLETS & GRILLED MEATS ) all of which was of good quality, fresh tasting, well presented, plentiful and cooked well , we would have preferred the hot food to be heated a little more but it really wasn't a major issue, the bread was so good we had to order a second basket ( for which we didn't get charged ) , there was a few variations to the menu from what we are used to elsewhere which we liked to see and got the thumbs up for us all. The only major issue apart from confusing / misleading location, and the quite cold restaurant was the main course part of the banquet it consisted of a small quantity ( for 3 Adults ) of charcoal grilled meat & lamb chops and that was it, no accompaniment of rice or potatoes or anything ( like we usually get elsewhere ) we all agreed this let the whole experience down for us. The price for the whole meal was on par with local competitors which we found to be reasonable. Would we return...........maybe not for the only reason being the issues we had with the main course?

Went for my wife's birthday. Was disappointed with the standard of dress, in there, people wearing tracksuits, lots of swearing. Was not what I expected and was a total let down, food was also very average for the price. Would not go back
