I love Bistro Jacques. Every time we visit we are treated to great service and fantastic food. The menu changes every month so you never get bored with the same things. The food is fabulous and so inexpensive! It really is a hidden gem of a place and must be visited by anyone that loves great food and pleasant surroundings. The wine is great to. A great place to go for the pre-theatre menu mid-week. Well done Bistro Jacques.

This place has become pretty much my favourite place to go for lunch following morning lectures this year, and I'm pretty miffed I didn't discover it earlier. Service is good, the food is great (and it would seem not to be packed with preservatives, either) and they do free green tea as well. Average price for a course is around 4 quid 50, and that'll keep you full for a good few hours, if not more. Definitely worth a visit.

I cannot believe that I've spent several years in Liverpool without finding The Egg. It's the sort of place I've always been looking for. Good cheap food, laid back, a wonderful ambience - definitely one-of-a-kind. Highly recommended.

This is the best place to eat in Liverpool. i suffer with allergies gluten, dairy and wheat and the menu tells you what? in there food to save illness later, I have eaten there lots of times but i celebrated my 40th birthday there with friends it was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and i would recommend it whole heartedly try it you wont regret it! ps there wine list is pretty good too, not just the average bottle of rubbish stowells.

I recently dinned at Blundell Street and would fully recommend the restaurant, the food, the atmosphere, the music and the staff, (especially Paula) all contributed to an enjoyable evening.

After being spoiled by top London Indian restaurants, such as Bombay Brasserie and Portes des Indes, i was pleasantly surprised to find the Maharajah in Liverpool's London road! The decor needs a little sprucing, but, that aside-excellent! My wife, who is picky about Asian food-loved a different regional taste and the rest of the family loved it. The only place I know anywhere that serves COBRA by the pint-draught! brilliant food ,lovely service- nothing too much trouble for them-and other Asian people eat there- the best advert!! Try it- you'll love the different regional taste- the fish curry is great!

Quality restaurant quality food, quality service and quality smiles. We really enjoyed our evening after the grand national. All the staff are extremely pleasant. The food was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I visit the Villa Romana on a regular basis, the food is so delicious. a great mixture to choose from so there is always something for everyone in your party. The waiters are all very friendly. I recommend the peppered steak medallions, melt in your mouth fantastic!!!!

Have just been to the new Kimos after move next door. Need not have been worried - same outstanding food, service and friendly atmosphere. My most highly recommended place to eat in Liverpool. Food is far higher quality than most. Excellent value to boot. The mixed Kebab is to die for. Cannot wait to go back. Well done Kimos. Dont change anything. Phill

Great food, always let down though by poor service. Last visit took an age to get served, then to get drinks and waiters seem far more intent on butting into your conversations or talking to visiting Footballers than taking your order!!! Still worth a visit though, as the Food really is outstanding, and excellent value.

Me and My girlfriend visited here recently and thought the food and overall experience was really good, Hence why we are going back tonight, The food is tasty gets your buds going as soon as you walk in, service was prompt and we never waited too long even tho the last time we went it was really busy, great standard all the way through, Would recommend it too n e one,

the uni is the best place to go after a good nite out in Liverpool, Kieren is very easy on the eye too.....
