Chung Ku

We had our wedding reception here and had a fantastic time. Great food, service and ambience. Thoroughly recommended and certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK.

Sapporo Teppanyaki

It? not just a restaurant but a night of entertainment as well. The food is probably some of the best food I have eaten in Liverpool. I have to be honest and say I was sort of expecting the sushi not to be freshest or the best tasting, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. Well worth the prices, but just go easy, as the portions and side portions can be a little overwhelming by the end of the night. Nobody on out table managed a desert. Be warned. Great night out and cant wait to go again.

Bistro Pierre

As a confirmed Francophile for many years I found the Bistro to be a sheer delight and as it was my choice I was very pleased that the rest of the staff enjoyed their meals, we all had an extremely pleasant time after a hard days work and we fully intend to make the Wednesday night special a regular event

This restaurant was very authentically Spanish and had an excellent atmosphere

Indian Delight

Been going to this restaurant for nearly 8 years now, as you can guess it is excellent. Staff are very good and very patient when dining at the end of a night out. Will continue to dine in the indian delight

Pizza Express

Very child friendly staff. Fantastic architecture. Ordinary (trying to be polite) food that was over priced. Pop in to see the splendour of the setting; a shame you can? eat that instead!

Eagerly awaited we expected to be impressed and sure enough, we were. Well done. Michael

Very impressive sushi, meal was very good i just wish the table we had been sat with had a little more life in them, i believe this would have made the night even more enjoyable. But do not take that as a moan, plenty of other tables on the night were having lots of fun, so my advice would be to go with a load of friends or family and try and pack a table

La Tasca

We have been dining at La Tasca since it opened. We bring all our Spanish visitors here - and they are very impressed. One said, 'I wish we had this in Spain!'. michael

We were a party of eight celebrating my mother in laws birthday, the service was very good and the tapas was excellent. As main course most of the party had paella which looked smelt and tasted fantastic, we will definitely go again and would highly recommend this venue.

Went on Monday night and it was heaving, we were told there is a waiting list on the weekend. Food was stunning, atmosphere was without comparison. Brilliant

Food was really nice but put off by the waiters hovering around whilst we were trying to have a romantic meal.

Ego Mediterranean Restaurant

My Ego experience was very enjoyable and highly recommened

London Carriage Works

Try to get a table on the raised bit behind the glass sculptures. You get your own wine and food waiter who are both knowledgeable. Food was fantastic with mini courses arriving at no extra cost. Superb night.

Quarter

The food was excellent - delicious pasta and home made pizza. It was also cheap. We had gone intending to use a voucher we had which entitled us to 2 courses for £10, but quickly realised the menu prices were cheaper than this anyway. However, the menu is boring - bog standard pasta and pizza with only one or two interesting dishes. Apparently there is a specials board, but as none of the waiters told us about this, I have no idea what was on it. The service was very poor - one waitress was particularly rude - suggesting 3 times we hadn't booked, when actually we had and the restaurant was less than half full anyway. They were also unable to provide us with wine glasses and we therefore had to drink our wine out of tumblers. I'm no wine expert, but there's a reason people don't drink it out of a cheap tumbler - because it spoils the taste. It was also not properly chilled. This restaurant could be fantastic - they clearly know how to cook, and if they just dimmed the lighting, the ambiance would be nice too - relaxed and friendly. Overall, though, it needs some work.
