Always great food and pleasant service can be relied on. Good variety on the menu and choice between small plates and larger mains. Definitely recommended.

This place was lovely was a little manic as was 10 of us but the waitress couldn’t do enough my son was autistic and she attended to his every need even offered to get another child something different to eat as she didn’t eat the pizza. A plate did fall but accidents happen the chefs did so well serving us great food which was excellent value for money would recommend. And go again x thank you

Dear Ann I just wanted to say what a wonderful evening we had there on Saturday evening. I can't praise all the staff highly enough in what must have been realy difficult conditions in that heat. As a table of menopuasal women, the constant supply of iced water was really appreciated :-) The Dirty Dancing/Grease act was brilliant and again they gave a great perfomance and really got everyone into dancing mode. The saxophonist was a fabulous surpise and he was amazing. The food as always was lovely and our friend with allergies appreciated that you followed her request to a T. All in all a 10/10 experience. We were talking about arranging our next visit before we even left the club.

Amazing venue, perfect for a girls night out! All the staff are helpful and kind. My friend and I had the bottomless brunch which is priced at £40 each but it’s totally worth it!

First time there and will definitely go back. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely food, good atmosphere. Located close to Train Station, so no worries about parking and drinking. Just a shame no outside dining facilities.

Would recommend! My family and I have visited the Ying Wah many times over the years and have always really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Due to living quite far away (about an hour drive) we have not been able to visit since it’s been refurbished. We were able to travel on Saturday and the journey was most definitely worth it- the experience did not disappoint! The decor of the restaurant area is very contemporary and sophisticated, but also welcoming and comfortable. The atmosphere is great and you don’t feel intruded upon by other diners. The food was absolutely delicious- we ordered several starters and a few mains, all of which were very tasty and lots of meat/fish in each dish. Overall a great experience and will be visiting Simon and the team again soon for some great food and equally great service!

Food was excellent as usual but because there was a large birthday party in the staff were stretched an unable to give their normal personal and attentive service.

I really wanted to like this place . I’d heard such good reviews ! We went for my daughters birthday . 6 of us and it was absolute chaos . Meals all came at different times . Waited for side orders . Food was ok ? Nothing special . Couldn’t catch Antibes eye to order another drink so didn’t bother in the end . 2 guys in the kitchen didn’t stop ! Think one waitress was new … no conversation dropped a few things … didn’t appear to have a clue what was going on. Bringing meals out but did t know what was what . They brought out chocolate fudge cake with a candle in which was a nice touch . Again wish it was a good review as very local to us .

Amazing food and excellent service. We didn't get the name of the man who served us but he seemed to cook, get drinks, and anything else that was asked of him. He was amazing thank you. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to people we know.
