Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreBig let down. Watery tasteless sauces, bland sides. Overpriced. We also had the added benefit of being served plastic in the naan bread. Won't be going back, there are much better options in the city.
Red Fort – Aigburthvisited on 10th december 2011, what a lovely restaurant, if you haven't tried Persian food then it is a must, shamefully there is not enough of these restaurants and i have only visited one before which was in London , but gladly we now have one here in Liverpool , a must for everyone to try , healthy ,delicious what more can i say, ghorma sabzi which is like a tender lamb stew served with rice, so delicious, the freshly cooked chicken or lamb, the freshly made salads .... lovely restaurant lovely surroundings ,clean and comfortable, and the family make you very welcome and staff cannot do enough for the customers defo worth a visit, give persian food a go am sure you will enjoy , i will defo go back xxx
Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI went there twice and the food was fairly good. I had the chicken Kebab and was truly surprised how tender the meat was. I definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially if you have never tried Persian food. :)
Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreThis is, and has been, our favourite restaurant for many years. The food, and wines, are always excellent. The seafood, steaks, and special exotic meat dishes, are always prepared to a high standard, and don't you know this in the taste! Barry (the owner), his chefs, and the waiters, all combine to make the Forge Brasserie one restaurant you want to return to, again and again.
Forge Brasserie – Southporthad a birthday meal here with my family, wow, would recommend to everybody the staff are lovely lovely people.
Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City Centrei had a lovely time , food was very fresh and delicious , definitely will go back .
Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreBeen to Cafe Roma on numerous occasions and cannot fault the food in any way! Everything is home made and very tasty!Would recommend Cafe Roma to anyone.Great prices also! The new tapas menu is also great. Brill value for money.
Caffe Roma – St.Helensdiscovered Acropolis after a friend recommended it. Superb foods and particularly the sheftalia. I have purchased 5 tubs of tahini which is as good as any i have tasted. Will be a regular visitor in the future.
Leonidas Foods – Mossley HillFirstly, The food was cold when it finally arrived at 11pm, having been seated for two hours. They had a complete disregard for any allergies as one of my colleagues has wheat allergy and was given pasta, despite explaining this to them. The pasta was taken away and a single carrot was returned in its place. After waiting so long for the food it was poor in standard and not what you would expect for £29.95 per head. Our main concern was the amount of people that were crammed into the venue, despite being told a maximum of 90 people there was a lot more than that, 70 people dining on the main seating and then 70 waiting to dine, added to which the amount of people who were just at the bar. Having spoken to other people this was the main course of concern for everyone – I have reported this problem to the fire service, because upon entering were advised by the hostess to take an alternative route to get into the venue because of the amount of people at the bar, which causes concern of how you would get out?I personally would never visit this venue again, because when speaking to the manager on the evening he did offer any explanation or way of resolving this situation. It was awful and a lady fell downstairs due to traffic on those stairs. Avoid this place for your safety.
St John Restaurant at the Sir Thomas Hotel – Liverpool City CentreHaving read your write up, I went there with real expectation. Greeted with "Hiya"; could not find reservation; table partly laid; after being seated glasses just thrown not set as should be; water served in a Pyrex jug; waiter service is not to a std expected in a high class hotel; table was not very clean-stain from previous occupants glasses were seen; food very salty; pudding dry and microwave heated. However, Venison was very nice.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreThis is second time we have had an evening meal here and it was brilliant! I would have to give it ten out of ten! This is now our favorite restaurant ! I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Caffe Roma – St.HelensI was actually there on the very first day this restaurant opened in 1978! So, you could rightly say I am biased. However, having eaten at many Indian restaurants all over the UK (including the fabled Rusholme) and Europe, nothing compares to TGOI. Why? Well, everything. The best service. The best atmosphere. Without doubt the best quality food. There is nothing else I can say. If you haven't been then you have missed out. If you have and you disagree then there is something wrong with you. As my good friend from Dudley said to me upon seeing this fantastic Emporium, "I bet that is a great curry house?". Yes.
Gate Of India – WaterlooHaving visited the Arion a few times in the last couple of years under previous owners and not being very impressed, I wasn't sure what to expect with the new owners. However, I am so glad I gave it another try!! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. We went as a family for something to eat and were not disappointed. The food was lovely, fairly priced and best of all the children were made to feel welcome too! The manageress Jackie was lovely and went out of her way to talk to us and entertained the children with colouring pens and pictures. Have been back several times and would certainly recommend it!! Also the quiz night is great! Looking forward to the Christmas specials!!
Arion At Ainsdale – SouthportBeen a few times within the past year and noticed that the standard has slipped in the past month. Even to the extent of the food being cold when it eventually came
Rueters – SouthportWas here for a hen party meal...absolutely amazing. highly recommended x
