Volare is highly recommended, I have visited since it opened. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly and the welcome is always great, they are a really hospitable couple. I feel really comfortable to visit on my own at lunchtime to indulge in fish soup, or whitebait. A memorable dessert I was tempted to was ginger trifle, yum!!

Had a visit on Tuesday for my birthday. Well, what can I say.... the meal was fantastic, service out of this world, lovely restaurant, Had lobster for the first time ever, and it was beautiful. Would very highly recommend to anyone who wants a perfect meal. Can't wait to eat here again.

Bistrot Verite for me is the best restaurant in the area, the anticipation of the menu is enough to set my tastebuds drooling. The variety is so tempting I usually have great trouble deciding on my choice,. The last time I had pasta which was coated with a most delicious sauce with large chunks of smoked haddock stirred through it. I was so full but could not resist a desert and decided to go for Rum Baba which was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to visit again. Sandra Gee

On Saturday 23rd July me and 10 of my girlfriends enjoyed a really fabulous day in Bistro Franc, the food was marvellous and the service was exceptional, we all commented on the great atmosphere, which is probably why we stayed so long... we were in the restaurant for most of the afternoon and everyone had a really special time, we can't wait to go back!

A gem of a restaurant. i genuinely believe that you wont find better Indian food than this on the Wirral. Karma is a successful small family restaurant and it is understandable why. excellent food, great wine, well priced, friendly staff, pleasant surroundings. what more do you need in a restaurant. its worth trying.

Time before last, my visit was disappointing, but last weekend had one of the most enjoyable meals ever in Liverpool. Menu had changed quite a lot. It was absolutely delicious with the most delicate of flavours and cooked to perfection!

The food here is great! even there desserts are homemade which is always a good sign (good wine too), we get the train from Crosby because there aren't any decent restaurants there. Yes it's a little noisy..but if you can't beat them.....

My family have been visiting the Casa Italia for 30 years. Starting off by my Mum taking my daughter, and now her children are regulars there. We have had many of our landmark occasions there and have never been disappointed by the food or the fantastic service. Yesterday myself and 13 of my cousins had a bit of a reunion there and all on short notice. Many thanks to the staff, your always fantastico!!!

I absolutely love this restaurant and would happily eat there every day. The staff are great and the food is superb, a wide choice offering excellent value for money. My current favourite dish is the delicious chicken alla crema. Heartily recommended!

My wife and I visited the Asiana on 18.07.11 and had a good time. The food was fantastic, extremely tasty and good size portions. The food and the service was faultless. As mentioned in a few reviews you are left to enjoy your meal and not rushed like some restaurants. The waiters where efficient and welcoming. We will definitely return. The take away menu is good value for money and definitely worth a try. Well done Asiana, you have won us over.

This place has some very interesting menu choices. It just really trendy and laid back without being overstated

probably the most disgusting meal served to me ever ! I went on the 11/7/2011 which was on the buffet night but ordered off the menu. I was convinced the chef had just put buffet food on my plate and charged me menu price ! I could not eat any of it, it was like every spice possible had been thrown over my lamb skewer in a pile of slop with an extra bowel of it for good measure! I had to take it home so as to not upset the chef, hello ? what was I thinking of ! Sorry I not send it back but it was a birthday and did not want to spoil it. I sent an email of complaint the next day but that got ignored.

SO Salsa is so good - the tapas are all beautifully cooked and presented; the staff are friendly and attentive, and it's great value for money with a warm atmosphere - go see.
