Gusto – Liverpool City Centre12 of us went last night for my Birthday, very few had been for Thai food before so a lot of us were weary of what to expect. Walked in and this is next level dining. Absolutely class inside, fish tanks water features, traditional Thai decor, fantastic. Was seated at a pre-booked sunken VIP table which was nice. Ordered the banquet for 8 and everyone loved it. Absolutely beautiful food, full of flavour. This is by far my new favourite place to eat, cant wait to return. By far the best meal I've had in my lifetime, cannot recommend this place enough!!!
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreMe and 9 of my colleagues had a great evening at fat momma's,the food was fabulous, the staff were very professional and good humoured, they had a great choice of food on the menu, and specials board ranging from Goats Cheese Brushcetta to Fillet Steak Rossini , and Greek Chicken.I chose the Rossini which melted in the mouth, great to see that you don't have to pay extra for vegetables , unlike other restaurants in the area. All in all we had a great night , we will certainly be booking our Christmas party there.
Ella Grill – BirkenheadThis is an amazing restaurant with courteous staff and immense portions. It is great value for money and a guaranteed quality, regardless of how busy they are. Some may disagree but they are wrong.
Greek Taverna – WaterlooBeen the beelash, a lot of times, over the past 2 years, maybe as many as 20 times, food is top quality every time, never had a nicer curry, in the area.
Belash – SouthportWe dined at the Moby Dick in West Kirby. The carvery was wonderful, Turkey, Ham and tender Roast Beef. Plenty fresh veggies and roast and new potatoes. The staff are friendly and there is a nice patio to sit outside. Priced at £4.50 in the week and £6.50 on a Sunday. Very good value.
Hickory’s Smokehouse – West Kirbyi would highly recommend ruis, me and my family have been going there for years and thoroughly enjoy it every time.
Ruis – BootleMy family & I visited Fuegos in Sept 09. The restaurant & staff are lovely & the place is very child friendly. We opted for the early bird menu, the food was fabulous & there was more than enough. We had three courses for 3 of us and a bottle of wine for around £36.00, easily worth the money. I would definitely pay a return visit
Fuegos – Southportavoid at all costs. i had heard mixed reviews about las iguanas but it was chosen as a leaving do for a work mate leaving the city. what a shame the last memory of a restaurant was this place! this is chain food at its worst. 4 meals sent back as stone cold, under cooked and pink. very poor quality meat. staff look miserable like they dont want to be there and rushed us as soon as we sat down to order, god no's why, we where the only party there (upstairs). they knocked so much off the bill in the end we all payed just over £10 each, including a few rounds of drinks. it was that bad. avoid avoid avoid. theres so so many nicer places in liverpool and for the amount of competiton that is around the chef needs to be fired!
Las Iguanas – Liverpool City Centredined here for lunch yesterday. A truly wonderful experience. Staff very welcoming, wonderful surroundings, beautiful water features and lighting. The food was fabulous. Probably the best dining experience I have ever had in Liverpool. Will be back next week.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City Centrehi just to let you know, had a wonderful meal in the palace restaurant great great food.
Palace Balti Tandoori – St.HelensHad a lovely meal at Bistrot Verite on the 22nd September. The service was friendly with a good menu using local produce. The food was excellent and reasonably priced for the quality and size of the portions. Lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Bistrot Verite – SouthportIt was great...for chinese food. You can definitely not class this restaurant as thai food.....I've never been to a proper Thai restaurant that did not have kaffir lime leaves, good quality coconut milk and fresh chillies in a thai curry. What a con....A CHINESE TRYING TO BE THAI. To say the least it was disappointing and an insult to Thai cuisine! There are plenty of other genuine Thai restaurants around merseyside so PLEASE....DO NOT BE FOOLED!
Siam Garden – Wavertreevery good meal at spire on Thursday evening, great value for money even though we used a voucher (a present for my wife's leaving present)will definitely return. allan
Spire – WavertreeWe had an amazing evening in Othello's on Saturday 19th September 2009. A party of 26 celebrated my brothers 40th birthday with fine wines, excellent food in a fantastic friendly atmosphere. The service we received was first class. Everybody enjoyed themselves and all spoke highly of Othello's. We cannot believe we have such a "High quality" class restaurant on our door step, it's a must for all to try! You done us proud Othello's! Thank you for making Steven's 40th birthday very memorable x
Othellos – Wooltonwent to this this restaurant in march 09 wasn't what i expected from what id heard, the staff were rude and pretentious the menu was small and very expensive would not recommend or visit this place again, my 1 good point the decor was nice.
Kozi – Prescotmy husband and i visited the tearooms on 16/09/09,oh what a joy.soothing atmosphere, fab food and the pot of darjeeling was wonderful.so impressed I'm going back tomorrow with my mum, whom i know will love it
Westminster Tea Rooms – SouthportBeen going here with my family for nearly 3 years now & would not go anywhere else. The service is excellent and the food is fabulous & it is no wonder that it is always busy. They have also recently refurbished the restaurant and also added some new delicious meals to the menu. Highly recommended - Andrew & Julie.
