we travelled up from Devon for our daughters graduation from john moors,what a fantastic afternoon we all had. The food was fabulous and as there was a group off us we nibbled off each others plate,i don't know how they do it for the price. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was so friendly, i would recommend this restaurant to any one definitely 10/10

My family and I went to this fabulous restaurant last week to celebrate my niece's graduation. The food was delicious and the restaurant was relaxing and comfy. Our waiter Simon, was very helpful and made us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend Il Forno to anyone. Can't wait to go back, thanks for an unforgettable evening.

would never recommend this place at all. Not expensive, but the food was greasy and the place quite shady in my opinion.

We visited Allerton Hall today to see if we would use it for our Wedding Celebration. We were impressed with the staff and Sarah the manager, very helpful. We tried the food, and the portions and quality were exceptional. at 2 for £10. The grounds are beautiful and we will be booking it for our Wedding Evening Celebration.

We have visited the restaurant on many occasions and although we have to travel from Widnes it is by far the best for service, food and surroundings. Additionally the menu id varied and is reasonable. We can highly recommend the Crown.

There are many Greek restaurants in Liverpool, but this has been consistently one of the best. Unlike the others the chef never changes, The present chef, Gerry, has learned his skill well and as he is the owner he will not be moving on. Don't be afraid to ask for the grilled meats to be cooked just as you like them.

Enjoyed a very delicious lunch at Sheldrakes on a gorgeous sunny day- which heightened the sense that we were in fact in the Med!The outside seating and views make you feel like you're on holiday- bliss. The food, staff and drinks were all wonderful and to a very high standard. Will definitely be returning very soon.

Eaten at Gusto Heswall about twelve times now- for both lunch and dinner- and it never fails to impress my boyfriend and I. Food is always perfection, staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is brilliant- love the fairy lights in the trees! Cannot fault one aspect of this restaurant. We will continue to visit forever!!. Just wanted to say what a lovely meal we all had on Saturday night. I run a social club offering events and activities, so brought 6 others along for a meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed t and the staff were great. Thank You

we have been to retsina many many times absolute lovely food, the chicken retsina has to be the best ever! We often have takeaway from here to. We eat out quite often but most of the time its retsina, would recommend to anyone who hasn't been here to try it out , its a nice, cosy, and welcoming place to eat and the food is great.

Never Again - food poisoning from Chicken & Bacon Salad

We eat from George Gerry's every week and have never had a bad meal in 20 years

A group of 6 of us went full of anticipation after hearing several positive reports regarding the quality of the food. However, we had also been warned as the quality of service varied tremendously depending upon who was working. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to sample the cuisine as, after being completely ignored for over 20 minutes, we decided that we would take our custom elsewhere. Had the restaurant been busy we could, perhaps, have been more patient however it was fairly quiet. When approached by the manager (Franco?) and I explained the reason for our departure he plainly wasn't at all concerned which confirmed that our decision to leave was correct. The Merseyside area has a number of decent Italian restaurants and the main differential will always be the quality of service. Sadly based upon our experience Prego falls short.

Visited this restaurant last night. Service was excellent and staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere was vibrant. Food was excellent with a good and varied selection. Well worth a visit.
