Gusto – Liverpool City Centrei went there the other week 4 my m8s birthday . boss restaurant. boss food. boss staff . especially the young sexy waiter daz love everything bout him and the restaurant i will be back there soon xxxxxxx
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooAte at the Quarter on sat 02/01/10. In a party of 9 and we waited 30 minutes to be seated and then it was on a bench. Food unimaginative and bland. Garlic bread was just a pitta bread warmed up & served with very little garlic infused oil. The garlic mushrooms & garlic bread consisted of 3 small mushrooms on the above described pitta bread. Only redeeming factor was fresh pasta was used in their pasta dishes, let down by using preformed chicken in the dish along with cheap bacon and the fact that the portion size would only just about fill a small child. I also object to being told a surcharge of 10% will be added to the bill as our table had over 8 people on it. Tipping is discretionary as far as I am concerned. On the whole, would not recommend it at all to anyone visiting Liverpool. Did not bother complaining at the time because, could not be bothered quite frankly as I just wanted to leave
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreWe had a small party reception at the Tai Pan Liverpool, and had been to the one in Manchester. It was a pleasant experience, but felt it was let down by the staff that weren't good at speak English. The food was nice but compared to most Chinese restaurant foods it tasted the same, no sparks. But majority of the part did enjoy the evening. I certainly was disgusted by the toilets! And shocked by the recent read in the Manchester Evening News that the hygiene didn't match the food and hygiene, cockroaches! Im sure they have cleaned up their act, because it has already put me off!
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreKarma is simply the BEST!! I loved every second of it when i was there. And i must say the staff are EXCELLENT. I would definitely recommend it to everybody. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, TASTY FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE.
Karma – West KirbyGreat food....Good price.... great decor.....we are going again! Only issue i have is that the food was not labelled when we went....that's just me being fussy but everything was great!
Magic Spices – WallaseyWe have been visiting Tonys Pizzeria for many years and have to say that we cant get such excellent value in such a friendly environment anywhere else. Tony and Jane always make us and our family feel very welcome, the quality of the food is fabulous, Tonys famous 12 ounce steak cant be missed along with their Garlic bread and home made salad dressing, the portions are great and pastas really tasty. You must really give them a try!
Tony’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria – Southportdont bother with the take away menu it was 45 minutes for cold food that wasn't even what we ordered chap happy £10 nights is the extent of the service at magic spice very very disappointing
Magic Spices – WallaseyWe went to the Retsina 30th Dec and it was a mistake, i opted for the speciality the "Psiton Kleftiko" if this is a speciality then??? the cut of lamb is described as being slow roased on the bone what i received was cheap cuts of lamb i would reserve for the dog!! the sauce was weak tomato based with massive chunks of garlic and ample paprika??? not rich and authentic as i had hoped. My partner opted for the chicken kebabs which in all fairness were nice but then how hard is it to marinate a few pieces of chicken and grill them??? All was served up with frozen chips (nice) and nondescript rice!!! Would i recommend this place...errrr no, a kebab from a chippy would have been more tasty!
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West Derbyme and my friend went for a meal 23/12/2009 and was very disappointed since we have used this restaurant many times before. the was only 3 small pieces of lamb in the curry and the rest was onions and green peppers. i had a vindaloo which was just chilli powder with no sauce or flavour. we complained at the time but they were not interested.
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreFirst class food at exceptional prices we held my parents golden wedding here and everyone remarked on the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere. Yes perhaps the decor is a bit dated but the menu is extensive and well prepared and cooked to order and at the prices they charge it is amazing they make any profit!!!
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensAlways tasty, very friendly service - try the tiffin if you are feeling greedy
The Quarter – Liverpool City Centrewent to maharaja last night with two friends all had the non vegetarian banquet £22.50 each what an amazing food experience every aspect of the meal was amazing we were truly stuffed when we left due to the amount of food and the quality was outstanding the service was superb this is a must for food lovers
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City Centrewent to yee rah after late night xmas shoppin. food lovely duck spring rolls to die for. steak for main course fantastic loads of flavour. reasonable prices and lovely views. well worth a try and would recommend
Yee Rah Bar & Grill – Liverpool City CentreI have been going to Zen for years now. The staff are lovely and friendly, food always spot on and such a varied menu. I always recommend to friends and family.
Zen – West DerbyLovely setting, currently a 2-4-2 menu including all of the specials. Great value for money.
Bootle Arms – BootleHave eaten here twice, the first time the staff were rushed off their feet as it was packed. We waited ages for our food and it was cold, decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and recently returned, this time it was half empty but the food was tasteless. They have a varied menu, but seem to do lots of things badly instead of focusing on a few things and doing them well. Also saw a worrying creamy sauce for pasta being kept at an unsafe temperature on our way out, I'd avoid that one personally unless you're after rapid weight loss!!
Yee Rah Bar & Grill – Liverpool City CentreAte in the quarter last night. The food was poor, i have never eaten such dry bread in my life. The service was average to say the least. For what we had to eat and drink £35.00 per person was very expensive.
