hi everyone , if you are thinking of going to this non authentic indian cusine please please please think again. our meal was well over priced and well over cooked, i asked for a chicken madras which they don't make! along with all famous other indian currys . the manager recommended a curry and stated very clear it was similar to madras . i trusted his judgement and was more than disappointed , as it was basically a korma (coconut milk based) with some chilli added, this is a huge difference as a madras is tomatoe based . to my horror i hate korma or anything to do with coconut . the saga loo is awful they over do it with too much spinage you cant even taste the potato and add cheese to it. my partner ordered the crispy lamb which was no better than our local Chinese take away accept it cost 14.50 our rice could have feed 4 people and they let us order two. our starters and main meal cost 91.53 . we did not eat hardly anything , and when asked why we didnt eat it i explained to the manager i dont like coconut this is why i asked for a madras he said sorry and still give us the 91.53 bill. to be honest i dont care about the money we have wasted , im more upset with the management and non authentic indian food. i absolutely love indian food more than i like shoes or handbags and was really looking forward to dining there regular as we live close by . also there website is currently not working properly so can not see the whole menu , ( you would think a restaurant with this price tag would have this sorted) definitely don't take your children (or child) like we did. i feel this should be clearly stated on the menu or website as they do not cater for children at all . the manger recommended fish fingers which cost 7.50 , these were fish with a curry paste deep fried in breadcrumbs. also the garlic naan is not fresh garlic and is too over powering . i dont feel they can justify the money they charge be prepared for a weird non indian chinese experience .
