My partner and I went to the Mayur last Friday. The staff were friendly and polite and the decor very pleasant but we found the food to be very average. We did not have starters so cannot comment on those. We had one vegetarian (cottage cheese and spinach dumplings) and one king prawn main course ), both of which were quite bland. We had one dessert (gulab jamun) which was also disappointing, it just tasted like a piece of very ordinary sponge with very ordinary vanilla ice-cream. Even more off-putting however was the fact that the restaurant was very noisy which we thought must be due to the acoustics of the building as we were not sitting in the middle of lots of people (it is a big restaurant so naturally you expect a certain amount of noise but this seemed unusual). We had to practically shout our orders to the waiter and could not hear each other above the din. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Always nice to be greeted by such beautiful waitresses. Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere. Will, and have recommended this fantastic restaurant to many friends. A friendly place where you are not hurried and can relax and talk whilst enjoying delicious Thai food.

Decided to go to Kozi for the second time, took my folks my aunt and my 11yr old son, had a lovely Sunday lunch, our waiter Caesar was a hoot(thanks for my teacake)service was excellent, food was fantastic, we had a lovely time, going back on Sunday with the girls,£10 you cant beat that.

Everybody seemed to be talking about this restaurant so we decided to visit. I must say we were bowled over. Everything was exceptional. The presentation of the food was amazing only surpassed by the taste. The service was also excellent. Smiling faces all around. This restaurant definitely has the full package. This must be the best place in the area. We will certainly be going back soon. Well done.

been to Damon's twice and was not impressed at all the food was really greasy and fatty and got served as soon as we ordered it .they were taking are starter away and giving us are mains the same time and the chips were warmed up in a deep fat fryer i think its horrible;.

We have been visiting Villa Romano for many years now, For our Anniversary, before we go the theatre. or for lunch after a hard morning shopping. never been disappointed. whether a pizza or a fancy 3 course meal. I cant recommend it highly enough. Neil & Co keep up the good work.

what a wonderful evening we had, my friend recommended this restaurant, the service was excellent are young waiter was very helpful its been a long time since we had such a superb meal, will be booking again very soon, i recommend this restaurant to any one looking for that all around experience of what a restaurant should be keep up the good work

Lovely food, well presented and tasty, but thing that made it for me was the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and professional. Looked after everyone with huge personalities. Loved every minute being there. Felt like I was on holiday not Rainhill. I recommend anyone going there for the experience of the food, service and ambience. Special hello to Cesar and Tamsin x

Probably a touch more expensive than most of its Chinatown neighbours, but worth it. The food is excellent, fresh ingredients and no MSG glazed meats. Not only was the food great, but the staff were attentive and engaging. I've lived in Liverpool for nearly 10 years, and this place is undoubtedly the best of all the Chinese restaurants I've tried. Only Yuet Ben (Upper Duke Street)come close.

I'm not one to complain - and I understand eateries have off nights. However, Kimos last night (06-10-07) was extremely poor. We waited one hour for our starters and a further 45 minutes for our main course - with no explanation of the delay. Three out of the four main meals were delivered out together, leaving one of our party without food. After enquiring, ten minutes later the fourth meal arrived - a vegetarian meal that unfortunately once tasted turned out to have chicken in it - a veggies nightmare come true! We weren't the only party to have issues with the service last night - and I put it down to an off night by the staff and kitchen. We've eaten there on numerous occasions, but that will be the last time.

Went here 2 months ago, the service was very very slow, the meal was lukewarm, I asked for roasted potatoes and got chips, so the meal had to be sent back. There were no compromises to cater for my grandson, what it said on the menu he had to have. The price at the end was very expensive for what I would call a one star cafe.

ATE AT SAVINA TWICE AND WILL BE GOING AGAIN!!IT IS A MUST IF YOU LOVE MEXICAN FOOD,LOVELY ATMOSPHERE AND THE STAFF ARE VERY ATTENTIVE!!!RECOMMEND FAJITAS AND POLLO COCONUT...ENJOY!!!

booked a table at ll forno for last tuesday night at 8pm for my girlfriends birthday was seated at my table at 8 was still sitting there at 8.30 with no service of an offer of a drink or anything ! ll forno was not very busy as it was a tuesday night there might have been about a dozen people at most in there. i have to say the service is the worst i have ever seen as for the food i would not know because we left and went next door to the sapporo teppanyaki were the service and food were fantastic .

We visited this for the third time this year last week and, as ever, food was fantastically tasty and enjoyable. Even though it was a Thursday, there was a steady stream of people coming into the restaurant creating a pleasant atmosphere. I love the place!

Went here for my birthday and had one of the best meals EVER. Had 3 courses for £15.95. Could not fault the service and the food was excellent. Will definitely be recommending to everyone. Good value too.

gR8! try tonight, 2morow or whenever - been with my hubby tonight, loved it all. Simple food, soooooo relaxed, very very good. this was a lucky, lucky find :-)

very expensive, quality of food on par with macdonalds, a place that kids will enjoy but it isnt the classiest of restaurants, i felt very rush and the food was barely warm. places such as the tavern other establishments on Allerton Road would be a better choice for overal value, service and food. Avoid if possible.
