The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportService was excellent and the building itself is nice. The menu is varied and is not too expensive. It was however, overpriced for the quality of the food. They should either up the quality or lower the prices.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreThere is a nice atmosphere here and the food is very good for the price. We had a really good night, if it was nearer to Liverpool we would probably go back again soon. We haven't tried lunch time specials but they are probably good too.
New China City – SouthportAn excellent restaurant! Great staff, very helpful and attentive! Wonderful food, the best yet! All my family outings are there, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, they always provide the best of services!!!! Highly recommended!
Capitol Chinese Restaurant – BirkenheadWe stayed here while visiting Liverpool from Sri Lanka on business. A nice old hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. Very clean. We stayed in the Feathers earlier which was also very nice, I preferred the Childwall Abbey, where i felt very much at home. I recommend this hotel.
Childwall Abbey Hotel – ChildwallThis was a nice place to eat everyone was friendly but not outstanding, i have eaten in better Chinese places than this yes its clean yes its modern but not cosy. If you want a nice cosy romantic atmosphere this is not for you its a huge modern brightly lit place and very little ambience. All in all it was a 6 out of ten.
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreHad a great meal -food hot, plentiful and well presented. Staff very attentive and friendly. We were a bit concerned that being in Cavern area that it may be overpriced but came away feeling we had a great meal. Would definitely go there again.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreThe spice club is among my favourite places to eat and the restaurant I use most often. The spice club is very reliable. The food is always very good and the staff are great. The restaurant is modern and comfortable. The food and service is easily as good as the very best in Liverpool. I am fortunate as the spice club is close to home. I would make the effort to travel if it was not.
Spice Club – MoretonWe loved Puschka! The waiters were very friendly and very efficient. I had the best bit of beef I've eaten in many a year. Well-matured and simply done. My partner's sea bream was (apparently) very good; I wasn't allowed to try it! The pear and almond tart was a triumph.
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreCame here with the family a few months ago, and couldn't believe how well we were treated. The quality of the food was to die for and just can't thank the staff more than possible for the quality of service. Especially the scouse/spanish barman who kept us and our kids entertained. Came in here again on Sunday with my wife and had a relaxing, delicious lunch. Thanks again!!
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthI liked this place and the chef knows how to cook an egg (that's quite rare these days!) but the manager insisted on calling me 'mate'. I was always taught that in the service industry business you call a lady madam and a man sir no matter what the age or appearance.
Hinderton Arms – HeswallI have been going here for years! I can recommend - Crepenette Di Pollo (Chicken Pancake) and Steak Dijonaise! Franco and his staff are quality!
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooMy mother and I had lunch there today and the food was fantastic - just £6.95 for 3 courses which were all superb! Will definitely return and recommend this to all of my friends.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreA truly Spanish restaurant right in the heart of the City of Culture. The Tapas dishes are generous and delicious, the Paella is to die for, particularly the Marisco (Seafood) Paella and the wines and beers are all fantastic. Couple this with the wonderful service from Javier and his team of mostly Spanish staff and you have a superb dining experience.
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreWe went last night for my birthday and the food and service were both excellent. The decor has to be seen to be believed! Probably the best restaurant ive been to in Liverpool so far.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreWell above the normal quality for pub food - very pleased with both a pie and a burger we chose. Great to eat at a pub and be pleased with what is served. Thanks!
Hinderton Arms – HeswallWe stumbled across this place quite by chance and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is very laid back and the place is decorated traditionally with an almost gothic feel. The food was great with chalked specials boards. Love it! Might even go back this afternoon!
Bear and Staff – WooltonThe best night out in Liverpool went for my birthday and was overawed by the place itself and the attentiveness of the staff, decor has to be seen to be believed definitely the jewel in Liverpool? crown !
